ILL COMMUNICATION

INSIDE
Non verbal communication is about 60% to 80% of how we communicate with others, we subconsciously process things about posture, eyes, expressions, hand movements and much more without realising.
Non verbal communication is key to any believable animation, it can be used in conjunction with speech, usually to highlight a point or reinforce what is being said. A character that is sad and hunching wouldn't be giving an uplifting speech or be laughing at something, both non verbal and verbal cues must match. The types of different non verbal communication you can have range from gestures of all parts of the body, eye movement, body language, posture, facial expressions and also the tone of your voice.
But it can be a subtle thing, that is why acting is such an important part of any animators day, getting up and acting it out yourself.
Non verbal communication is essential for a character, it helps the audience to understand the mood of that character and what is happening in the scene, all the little cues that the character portrays needs to be understood. Having effective non verbal communication can really help with this.

Heidelberg officially dedicated the newly renovated Media Communication Center (MCC) on Friday, April 1, 2011. The 3,200-square-foot facility, located beside Krieg Residence Hall, is home to WHEI radio and television operations and commercial radio station WTTF. WTTF’s presence in the Center provides Heidelberg students with the opportunity to observe, learn from and value this important facet of the industry.
As one of a few college campuses that houses a professional radio operation, Heidelberg combines traditional classroom and laboratory learning with real-world experience within a single facility. The learning opportunities available through the MCC extend across disciplines; all students, regardless of major, may participate in the activities of the Center.
Following the dedication, eight alumni from the fields of broadcasting and media shared their career experiences in a pair of panel discussions for students.
A major method in which today's society communicates is through forms of mass media and various types of journalism.
