The acronym “CHANGE” stands for “Change happens as new growth evolves” for FIT students Valentina Burzanovic, Anne Mailey, Camilla Mayer , Ana Misenas, and Jason Mitja. The group designed a mural to portray the evolution of communication from paper to computer technology with visual elements representing extended tree branches intertwined with a brightly-colored background.

The one on the right erected in 1960 and standing at 111 meters, belongs to CBC/Radio-Canada, but it also hosts the antennas of practically all private and public broadcasters in Greater Montreal, such as TVA, CTV, Télé Québec, Astral Media, Corus and more.
And the one on the left is used by the SPVM (Service de Police de Montreal).

Approximately 50 children of Virginia National Guard and active duty military parents took part in the Teen Wilderness Adventure Camp held at Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing in New Castle June 26 to 30. The camp was organized by the Virginia National Guard Youth Program in partnership with Operation: Military Kids and offered an opportunity for teens to grow together in a non-traditional learning environment with activities that develop leadership and effective communication. Satellite television is television programming delivered by the means of communications satellite and received by an outdoor antenna, usually a parabolic reflector generally referred to as a satellite dish, and as far as household usage is concerned, a satellite receiver either in the form of an external set-top box or a satellite tuner module built into a TV set. Satellite TV tuners are also available as a card or a USB peripheral to be attached to a personal computer. In many areas of the world satellite television provides a wide range of channels and services, often to areas that are not serviced by terrestrial or cable providers.
Direct-broadcast satellite television comes to the general public in two distinct flavors - analog and digital. This necessitates either having an analog satellite receiver or a digital satellite receiver. Analog satellite television is being replaced by digital satellite television and the latter is becoming available in a better quality known as high-definition television.

The objective of the LUX Prize (light) is to illuminate the public debate on European integration and to facilitate the diffusion of European films in the European Union. The LUX Prize will finance the subtitling and the kinescope recording of the winning film in the 23 official EU languages. The original language recording will be adapted for sub-titling for hard of hearing and deaf people.

Funded by U.S. Department of State, World Learning is designing and implementing a professional exchange program, the Digital Communication Network, from June 10-28, 2017. This will be the third iteration of the program, which brings professionals from Eastern Europe and Central Asia to the United States to study topics such as trends and tools in digital communication; the impact of technology on marketing strategies; and social media management. Following the first exchange in 2015, the original participants established the Digital Communication Network as an independent professional association, which has registered over 3,000 members globally and conducted further workshops and events in Moldova, Lithuania, Poland, Armenia, and Ukraine.
