KPN office at Kop van Zuid region in Rotterdam. Apparently the green squares function a s a means of communication and can form all kinds of patterns.
This was origonally for my communication class project but I ended up really liking this shot. So here I am sharing it with you!

Communication... without it, the world would be a quieter place.
(Think of cell phones).
Taken whilst driving by this evening, the golden tones turned pink later on.
Communication Breakdown, It's always the same,
I'm having a nervous breakdown, Drive me insane!

This image was originally created for a school project. The objective was to make an extraordinary image of an everyday object. I'm not sure if it is extraordinary, but I do like the sense of motion and frenzy conveyed by the image, which I think is appropriate to the concept of modern communication.
Hand-held 4-second shot taken with a Konica-Minolta DiMAGE z6, with the camera intentionally moved during the exposure to create the motion blur/zoom effect.
Sometimes it's not so easy to find the right comments ;-)
There is a lot of stuff in my stream, which is only dedicated to open minded people ;-)

"The sculptures in the room display sliced and unspooled electricity and communication cables that have been dug up from underground. The thin net on the wall is made of copper.
Nina Canell is interested in the dissonance between functional materials and their immaterial connotations. She sees subterranean cables as forming an underground network of capital, labour and knowledge, or as a kind of extension of the human nervous system. In the wireless age, the materiality of the cables seems almost anachronistic."

Today I made use of modern technology to communicate with Little Henry. I wanted to let him know that although our train was running late, I made sure that the next one would wait for us. The persuasiveness of a rolling pin is always a marvel to see :-)
I also wanted to make sure that Little Henry was taking care of my mommie and that he was fed properly ;-)
Most importantly though, I needed little Henry to look up a muffin recipe that my Uncle had forgotten.
Henry was most helpful and you can see him below carefully dictating the yummy ingredients.
