From the Closing Ceremony, Commonwealth Games 2010, New Delhi.
Being a stone's throw distance away from the stadium has its advantages, these kind of views that you never get used to for one.
:)
But it also comes with a big pain. In the last month or so -
The roads around our place were mostly unusable. Either due to traffic jams - because the construction was on, or due to no-usage - because the games were on!
But looking at the fireworks clearly made our day. I could proudly say - "Yea! that blue one.. I paid for that."
:D Tax Payer's Paradox!

Commonwealth of Virginia, number 23 of the 29 states I visited.
My first visit to the state was a road trip from Fayetteville, North Carolina to Virginia Beach.
We drove up north on I-95 thru Emporia then US Route 58 to Suffolk. Between Suffolk and Chesapeake, US Route 58 merge onto I-264 to Portsmouth, crosses the Elizabeth river to Norfolk thru downtown tunnel and Berkley bridge. Distance was 232miles and time duration of 3hrs and 59mins.
My second visit was a Greyhound bus trip from Fayetteville, North Carolina to Toledo, Ohio with a bus transfer in Washington, DC and Baltimore, Maryland. Greyhound stops at 5 different locations in Virginia, from Petersburg-Richmond-Fredericksburg-Woodbridge-Springfiled. Time duration of 23hrs and 40mins. The longest bus trip I ever had in my life.
