Commonwealth Avenue Mall, a grand allée of shade trees forming the central axis of Back Bay, connects the Public Garden to Back Bay Fens.
Back Bay is home to a residential neighborhood of graceful nineteenth-century Victorian Brownstones, and landmarks such as the civic plaza Copley Square, enclosed shopping mall Prudential Center (1993), and Renaissance revival style Boston Public Library (1895).

The Lithgow to Newnes rail-line was opened on 1907 and ran for a total distance of 51 kilometres.
The line was operated by the Commonwealth Oil Corporation in conjunction with the Newnes oil and kerosene shale mines.
In the late 1980's these former NSW Government railway carriages were positioned in Newnes as a reminder of the now long past Commonwealth Oil Corporation railway.

Street photography from Glasgow, Scotland.
Can you believe that this was a candid capture? It was, they were actually walking along like this - smiling and dancing and waving their arms around. I spoke with them afterwards and they had volunteered at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 and wanted to spread the joy of the upcoming Commonwealth Games no matter how silly they looked - their words! I thought this was a good shot for this day with the games opening in Australia earlier today. Enjoy!

Commonwealth Creek falls down many short drops. We sat and ate lunch to the right of where I stood to take this shot and listened to the roar of waterfalls above and below us.

Here is one from the archives taken a few weeks back.
I haven’t had a chance to process any of my shots I took while I was at the coast last weekend. I have some really nice sunrise shots that I can’t wait to share them with you.
I wasn’t going to upload this one but in the end I gave in. I am not happy with how this image turned out to be. I guess I was hoping for something more interesting, instead I ended up with this boring shot.
What you see in there is the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge in Canberra.
Flickr is broken because this made it to Explore. Thank You!

A bright yellow neon street sign alerts vehicular traffic to a school zone further down Angas Street. The floodlights behind it are for illuminating the Roma Mitchell Commonwealth Law Courts building.
On my return from Cave Ridge, I came back down to the Commonwealth Basin Trail. The sun was getting low in the sky and the light was fading fast in the dark forest.

(From the archives, photo taken in 2013. Bus was in service at time of photography. The operator of this bus is no longer in business.)
Note that this bus is numbered at both the front and rear of the belt line. This is not typical for KY buses.
Well, this is all I have so far.
Had a few of Rumrunner's vehicle decals left over, so decided to do something useful.
Also, I have made a Thompson 1928 mod. Hope you like it. I did make a Bren, but it broke before I took the photo, so I didn't use it.
Can't wait to get that other dark tan stuff and the Brodie Johnny, means I can get another one done!!!
These will be available soon! Website will be up shortly, the name "Brick Battalion" was chosen back in May, so have been designing for some time now, I know you that helped have been dying for it to be online!

The afternoon sun highlights the Red on NSU56 on 28-8-19 which hasn't held up too bad after sitting in the same spot at Marree for the last 35 years
We arrived in Canberra last night and I had to go and take some night photos of Parliament House. I've got heaps to edit but this is one of my early favourites.
