The streets of downtown West Chester exploded with excitement as hundreds of cyclists raced through this challenging circuit at speeds in excess of 35mph.
It’s the Iron Hill Twilight Criterium, one of the top races on the east coast!
The crowd cheered on national and local athletes as they pushed themselves to the limits of ability.

Adding importance to this year’s event is the fact that the West Chester event was the ninth of ten races in the USA CRITS Championship Series, making it one of the last opportunities for riders to protect or improve their standings before the final invitational.
The action begins and ends at the intersection of Gay and High Streets, home of the title sponsor Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant.
About the route:
The Iron Hill Twilight Criterium is a 0.6-mile course over 8 city blocks on the streets of historic downtown West Chester, Pennsylvania, featuring four 90 degree turns and one short rise.
The Start/Finish Line is next to the Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant, the title sponsor, at the intersection of Gay and High Streets.

The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce welcomed its new Chairman Ron Pierce as 2009 Chair John Sullivan passed the gavel at the 2010 Annual Dinner held at Pepin Distributing in January. The Catering Company catered the sit down dinner. Mark Procter, founding partner of Platinum Bank and longtime community advocate received the Key Citizen award while Sandy and Dottie MacKinnon were awarded the 2010 leadership award for their longtime committment ot the chamber and the development of A Kid's Place of Tampa Bay. Chamber Announces Businesses of the Year
December 31, 2010 — Winners of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce’s 2010 Business of the Year Awards were announced at the Chamber’s 2011 Annual Meeting Jan. 25. The Chamber presents Business of the Year Awards to outstanding members in the small, mid-size, large and non-profit organization categories. The Chamber also presented the Progress Energy Sustainable Business of the Year Award.
Vacuum Cleaner Hospital is the 2010 Business of the Year in the small business category.
Chapel Hill Magazine is the 2010 Business of the Year in the mid-size business category.
Top of the Hill is the 2010 Business of the Year in the large business category.
The Morgan Creek Foundation is the 2010 Non-Profit of the Year.
PTA Thrift Shop, Inc. is the Progress Energy Sustainable Business of the Year.
The Business of the Year Awards (one recipient each for small, mid-size, and large categories) is presented to the outstanding Chamber member businesses that have shown growth, innovation of product, exemplary customer service, response to adversity, and/or contribution to the community. The small category is open to organizations with ten or fewer employees; the mid-size category to organizations with 11-25 employees, and the large to organizations with 26 or more employees.

India's supply of water is rapidly dwindling primarily due to mismanagement of water resources, although over-pumping and pollution are also significant contributors.
