The Downtown Webb City Historic District is an irregular shaped commercial area located in Webb City; Jasper County, Missouri and is locally significant under National Register Criterion A in the area of Commerce, and under National Register Criterion C in the area of Architecture. A survey of Webb City (1996) and a site and recommendations report (2009) identified the district as one of the most intact grouping of commercial buildings in the community. The district served as the primary commercial business district in the community from the mid-nineteenth century to the current date. The buildings retain most of their original design features, and comprise of a visually cohesive grouping of commercial buildings and one residential dwelling constructed from 1883 to 1965. The development ofthis district in the city represents a local commercial development trend, and depicts the vital interplay between the mining industry and commerce in Web City's development. The predominantly brick-clad, one- to threestory buildings tend to be two-part commercial block but design details and the few high-style buildings within the district were visibly influenced by the common styles of the mid-nineteenth to early-twentieth centuries. Stylistic influences within the Downtown Webb City Historic District include Italianate, Italianate Revival, Romanesque, Art Deco, Streamline Moderne and Queen Anne. In addition, buildings are notable for their cast iron storefront. The period of significance extends from 1883 through 1965, representing the period in which the district was developed.

Sibley & Holmwood Candy Factory and Witkop & Holmes Headquarters are each individually significant latenineteenth century commercial buildings that are located adjacent to one another in downtown Buffalo. Though unrelated in their commercial histories, the buildings share a setting in a portion of the downtown where much of the historic building fabric was lost during the midcentury. In addition to being designed by notable regional architectural firms, each building represents the histories of significant local businesses, is rare survivors of their types and is substantially intact from their dates of construction.

One of the two cities I have that is dedicated soley to commercial and hi-tech industry. Funny thing is, this city doesn't really represent the city it gets demand from, that city is mostly poor residential while this one is almost entirley $$ and $$$ shops & offices.

India's supply of water is rapidly dwindling primarily due to mismanagement of water resources, although over-pumping and pollution are also significant contributors. Today, water resource management strategy is required to be integrated and innovative so that it is sustainable and efficient; this can be ensured through innovative tools of promotion, and incentives for the efficient water utilization, while simultaneously, dealing with inefficient water consumption through taxes, disincentives, and tariffs. A holistic management approach on how to use, from where to use, distribution network, collection network, its treatment and disposal has to be defined. The investments in urban water infrastructure need to be supported by governance, reforms in order to transform the urban sector and improve delivery of services and adequate improvement in provisions for maintenance of assets have to be made.
The 5th Edition of India International Water Summit aims to provide an unique and ideal forum to bring in policy level interaction/representation along with B2B opportunities. The discussions and deliberations at the summit will not only focus on policy and regulatory environment prevailing in the country but would also focus on new projects on sustainable management of water, advanced technologies, business development, success stories and idea of replication as well.

"In 1857, the Conseil général de la Seine decided the construction of a new building for the Tribunal de Commerce and the conseil des prud'hommes, which later moved to a separate location. Part of the grounds that were reserved for it had been the location of the ancient Church of Saint-Barthélemy. Following its demolition in 1791, the church had been replaced by entertainment venues, first the Théâtre de la Cité-Variétés and then the Prado ballroom. That building and nearby houses, in turn, were demolished in 1858 for the complete remodeling of the middle section of the Île de la Cité, a major project of Haussmann's renovation of Paris.
The courthouse building for the Tribunal de Commerce was built between 1859 and 1865 on a design by architect Antoine-Nicolas Bailly, inspired by the Renaissance Palazzo della Loggia in Brescia. It was ceremoniously inaugurated by Napoleon III on 26 December 1865, and the court's first hearing was held the next day. In the 1930s, it underwent a remodeling that transformed the atrium's ceiling and lower parts of the northern façade, but has otherwise been largely preserved in its original state.
The 4th arrondissement of Paris (IVe arrondissement) is one of the twenty arrondissements of the capital city of France. In spoken French, this arrondissement is referred to as quatrième. Along with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd arrondissements, it is in the first sector of Paris, which maintains a single local government rather than four separate ones.
The arrondissement, also known as Hôtel-de-Ville, is situated on the right bank of the River Seine. It contains the Renaissance-era Paris City Hall, rebuilt between 1874 and 1882. It also contains the Renaissance square of Place des Vosges, the overtly modern Pompidou Centre, and the lively southern part of the medieval district of Le Marais, which today is known for being the gay district of Paris. (The quieter northern part of Le Marais is within the 3rd arrondissement). The eastern part of the Île de la Cité (including Notre-Dame de Paris) and all of the Île Saint-Louis are also included within the 4th arrondissement.
The 4th arrondissement is known for its little streets, cafés, and shops but is often regarded by Parisians as expensive and congested. It has old buildings and a mix of many cultures.
Paris (French pronunciation: [paʁi]) is the capital and most populous city of France, with an estimated population of 2,150,271 residents as of 2020, in an area of 105 square kilometres (41 square miles). Since the 17th century, Paris has been one of Europe's major centres of finance, diplomacy, commerce, fashion, science and arts. The City of Paris is the centre and seat of government of the Île-de-France, or Paris Region, which has an estimated official 2020 population of 12,278,210, or about 18 percent of the population of France. The Paris Region had a GDP of €709 billion ($808 billion) in 2017. According to the Economist Intelligence Unit Worldwide Cost of Living Survey in 2018, Paris was the second most expensive city in the world, after Singapore, and ahead of Zürich, Hong Kong, Oslo and Geneva. Another source ranked Paris as most expensive, on a par with Singapore and Hong Kong, in 2018.
The city is a major railway, highway and air-transport hub served by two international airports: Paris–Charles de Gaulle (the second busiest airport in Europe) and Paris–Orly. Opened in 1900, the city's subway system, the Paris Métro, serves 5.23 million passengers daily; it is the second busiest metro system in Europe after the Moscow Metro. Gare du Nord is the 24th busiest railway station in the world, but the first located outside Japan, with 262 million passengers in 2015 Paris is especially known for its museums and architectural landmarks: the Louvre was the most visited art museum in the world in 2019, with 9.6 million visitors. The Musée d'Orsay, Musée Marmottan Monet, and Musée de l'Orangerie are noted for their collections of French Impressionist art, the Pompidou Centre Musée National d'Art Moderne has the largest collection of modern and contemporary art in Europe, and the Musée Rodin and Musée Picasso exhibit the works of two noted Parisians. The historical district along the Seine in the city centre is classified as a UNESCO Heritage Site, and popular landmarks in the city centre included the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris, on the Île de la Cité, now closed for renovation after the 15 April 2019 fire. Other popular tourist sites include the Gothic royal chapel of Sainte-Chapelle, also on the Île de la Cité; the Eiffel Tower, constructed for the Paris Universal Exposition of 1889; the Grand Palais and Petit Palais, built for the Paris Universal Exposition of 1900; the Arc de Triomphe on the Champs-Élysées, and the Basilica of Sacré-Coeur on the hill of Montmartre.
Paris received 38 million visitors in 2019, measured by hotel stays, with the largest numbers of foreign visitors coming from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and China. It was ranked as the second most visited travel destination in the world in 2019, after Bangkok and just ahead of London. The football club Paris Saint-Germain and the rugby union club Stade Français are based in Paris. The 80,000-seat Stade de France, built for the 1998 FIFA World Cup, is located just north of Paris in the neighbouring commune of Saint-Denis. Paris hosts the annual French Open Grand Slam tennis tournament on the red clay of Roland Garros. The city hosted the Olympic Games in 1900, 1924 and will host the 2024 Summer Olympics. The 1938 and 1998 FIFA World Cups, the 2007 Rugby World Cup, as well as the 1960, 1984 and 2016 UEFA European Championships were also held in the city.
