Welcome to TPC Harding Park
TPC Harding Park, named after avid-golfer and President Warren Harding, opened in 1925. Masterfully designed by golf course architect Willie Watson, of Olympic Club fame, the 163-acre course takes advantage of existing topography, contours and vegetation.
The course’s history is almost as great as the Monterey Cypress Trees that line it. A frequent PGA TOUR stop in the 1960’s, the newly renovated TPC Harding Park is once again attracting big name tours – host to the 2005 World Golf Championship and the 2009 President’s Cup.

Washington, D.C. - December 11, 2012: The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the U.S.-Iraq Business Initiative, in collaboration with the U.S. Business Council in Iraq, hosted His Excellency Dr. Khalaf Abdul Samad, the Governor of Basrah, U.S. business executives, and accompanying Iraqi public officials visiting Washington as part of an official Iraqi delegation. During the luncheon at the Chamber, participants discussed the importance of strengthening commercial ties between Basrah and the United States and the positive impact the American private sector is currently playing, and how to expand that impact in Iraq’s reconstruction and economic development.

Commerce, GA (Jackson County)
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Commerce has an impressive historic downtown Commercial District with a collection of 19th and 20th century commercial and industrial structures reflecting the charm captured by Olive Ann Burns in her novel, Cold Sassy Tree. Commerce is on the U.S. 441 Heritage Highway. Shopping, restaurants and a train track down the center of town take you back to a more relaxed era. (1)
