The Commerce Bank building is easily my favorite structure in Peoria. I tried to coerce the building's owners to allow me to propose to my fiancé (now wife) on the catwalk around the lighthouse, but they weren't thrilled about the idea.
Designers, Hewitt & Emerson also designed the First United Methodist Church and the National city Building.
Woman from the bank was by the door, told me I wasn't allowed to take pictures of the damage to the bank. I told her I wasn't inside the bank, I was on a public sidewalk. She said that's what "they" told her — that no photographs were to be taken. So I said, "You mean like this?" and snapped a few.

Unfortunately the fountain is dry at this time of year. Interesting in the shot with the Scotia tower behind the Canadian Bank of Commerce built circa 1930 (CIBC now) the old and the new.

TPC Harding Park - Daly City-Colma Chamber of Commerce Mixer
Welcome to TPC Harding Park
TPC Harding Park, named after avid-golfer and President Warren Harding, opened in 1925. Masterfully designed by golf course architect Willie Watson, of Olympic Club fame, the 163-acre course takes advantage of existing topography, contours and vegetation.
The course’s history is almost as great as the Monterey Cypress Trees that line it. A frequent PGA TOUR stop in the 1960’s, the newly renovated TPC Harding Park is once again attracting big name tours – host to the 2005 World Golf Championship and the 2009 President’s Cup.
