Time is a weapon, wielded only by those who understand its weight. Every second spent in preparation sharpens the blade of inevitability—order, discipline, and mastery of the unseen battle.

A leader does not watch time pass; he dictates its flow, ensuring that when the moment arrives, he stands not in its shadow, but above it.

“Power belongs to those who command time—not those who follow it.”

I've posted this one as an example of the kind of damage to film which cannot really be fixed. Click on the zoom button twice and you'll see the damage I mean on the open door of the truck: scratches and gouges, and cracks in the emulsion.

This sort of crackling damage to the emulsion itself, I think is likely a result either of heat or liquid (Coca Cola?). Sometimes careful washing can alleviate some of this, and for movies there is a process called wet-gate printing, where liquid chemicals are applied as a copy is made, with the liquid filling in the cracks physically. I'm still hoping for a digital tool to do the same thing, but that seems unlikely at the consumer end of the market. So I've adjusted colour and contrast, but the damage is mostly still intact. I've removed almost all the damage from the Captain's face, but as for the rest, large spots can be removed, but that's really all you can do.
