This patch is used by the United States Army's 13th Sustainment Command.

 

Over the years this unit has had several designations:

This patch is used by the United States Army's 167th Sustainment Command. This is an Alabama National Guard unit as indicated by the Alabama state flag on the lower half of the insignia.

 

Over the years this unit has had several designations:

167th Theater Support Command (2000-2006)

About the United States Army Garrison Japan:

 

The United States Army Garrison Japan and its 16 supported installation sites are located in the island of Honshu and Okinawa in Japan. The USAG Japan mission is to support the Headquarters, U.S. Army Japan / I Corps (fwd) to ensure mission readiness and the quality of life of the Army community in a sustainable, transforming joint and combined environment.

 

The USAG-J area of responsibility spans 1,500 miles from north to south of Japan. Camp Zama, home for both HQ USARJ and USAG-J is located approximately 25 miles southwest of Tokyo in the cities of Zama and Sagamihara in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The Camp Zama base cluster includes Sagamihara Housing Area and Sagami General Depot.

 

Akasaka Press Center is located in the center of Tokyo. The Akizuki/Kure area near Hiroshima is an ammunition depot. Yokohama North Dock is a port facility in the city of Yokohama, a major commerce port and a popular shopping area. USAG Torii Station is located 980 miles southwest of Camp Zama on the island of Okinawa.

Thirty - two top performing company - grade officer, warrant officer and non-commissioned officer at the Joint and Multinational Level, from all services across the Pacific region, including 1 Department of the Army Civilian, completed the 8th Theaters Sustainment Command's Phase I of the Young Alaka'i (YA) Leader Development Program 16-02 September 17.

 

"Young Alaka'i is the most innovative, effective leader development program I have ever seen," said GEN Robert B. Brown, commanding general of U.S Army Pacific. "People are our best resource. It is important to get this kind of training opportunity to this cohort (company grade leaders) who want it and thrive for it."

2003 Ford Expedition

 

The Chief's car is a 2003 4x4 Ford Expedition. It carries 2 SCBA's, 2 complete sets of turnout gear, a full compliment of forcible entry tools, a CO gas detector, an AED, a medical bag, fire extinguishers, and incident command vests. The vehicle can also carry 5 firefighters.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department opened the new Summerlin Area Command. The 24,000-square-foot substation is located on 4.75 acres west of the 215 Beltway. Headed by Capt. Sasha Larkin, formerly of the Northwest Area Command, the new Summerlin Area Command houses approximately 170 commissioned personnel and 16 civilian staff members.

 

The new area command features a Community Oriented Policing squad for community outreach and events as well as flexible deployment teams or Flex squads. These squads will be visible in the entertainment and shopping district of Downtown Summerlin and at community gatherings. In-house detective squads will be housed in Summerlin Area Command to conduct investigations quickly with a community focus. The redistricting and boundaries for Summerlin Area Command create a greater density of officers in the Summerlin area, resulting in faster response times.

About the 401st:

 

The 401st Army field Support Brigade gives our Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, and Marines, the tools and resources necessary to complete the mission. If they shoot, drive it, fly it, wear it, eat it or communicate with it, the 401st helps to provide it. The brigade also assists coalition partners with many of their logistical and sustainment needs. The brigade will also handle to responsible disposition of equipment in Afghanistan as the mission here changes. The 401st is the single link between warfighters in the field and Army Materiel Command.
