Love the stillness and the quiet of the early mornings on the river and of course the wonderful light.
Macro Monday
Theme: Behind Glass
Size: Less than 3x3 inches
The subject behind the glass, in this case a perfume glass bottle is the plastic tube with the perfume drops inside the bottle.
3 light sources...natural back lighting, incandescent yellow light at 2 o'clock and LED torch light at 6 0'clock.
Colours are from small pieces of coloured plastic bags placed behind the bottle.

They stand on the highest point of the Ruhr area, a dump near Bottrop - the "Totems" of Agustin Ibarolla. In 2002, the Basque artist created the installation from more than 100 worn-out railway sleepers, which he worked with saws and paint and then let into the ground vertically. Through their colourful painting, they form a spectacular contrast to the grey of the heap.

When I visited the Haniel halde, I happened to have the glass ball in my backpack (it had not been used at the lake the day before), and turning the totems and the surroundings of the dump upside down (my first time I used the glass ball in outdoor photography) was a lot of fun. If anyone would like to know more about this heap - below there is a link.
Although there are a lot of amazing villages & cities in Alsace, Eguisheim is my favourite… This is a village on the Alsace wine route (La Route des Vins d’Alsace) It is one of the “The Most Beautiful Villages of France” (Les plus beaux villages de France) And plus, It is also holder of the prestigious 4* village fleuri award, which is the highest award. (concours des villes et villages fleuris) So this street shows the soul of this amazing village….Unique architecture, history, flowers where all represent great harmony of the colours… BeNowMeHere, Eguisheim, Alsace, France, 2015 via 500px ift.tt/1ViXjUb
