It might only be the 10th of September but there are clear signs that the wonderful colours of autumn are on the way.

A variety of different colours beach huts on Nefyn beach.

Springtime is full of colours - blue in the sky, green are the meadows and trees, bright yellow comes from the rape seed and finally the shining white of the clouds. Everything comes together to create a familiar feeling: home.

Colours of Nanyang is a performance by Dance Ensemble Singapore (@danceensemblesingapore) about the wedding customs and rites of the local Peranakan culture.

It was performed as part of the "A Date with Tradition" event held at the Stamford Arts Centre near Bugis, Singapore.

The AD and I recently traveled through part of SE Asia.

It was an amazing journey through Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.

Some of you have been asking to see some of the images taken during the trip. We took over 1,000 images between us and I'll be posting a very small sample of these over the next few weeks.

We started our journey in Bangkok. This shot shows the brightly coloured rooftops of the Wat Pho Temple.
