Today I'm very excited: I'm about to go on a shooting expedition.
Not here in my usual surroundings, but over in The Big City. In a neighbourhood I've always always ALWAYS wanted to shoot.
It's rough. Um... very rough. But I have (for the first time ever) friends going with me. Good friends. Old friends. One of whom just bought his first DSLR and can't wait to get out and try all its coolness.
So... yeah. The roughest neighbourhood in Canada awaits me, with all its dirt and decay and decrepitude.
To quote my hero Paul Westerberg, I can't hardly wait.
Taken with a Praktica MTL-3 on Kodak Profoto 100 film.
Lens: Jupiter-9, 85mm @ f4 + 28mm ext. tube
Magnification cca. 1:3 (that's a cm ruler)
Exposure: 1/30s
Rotated a bit + color corrected in GIMP (basically full crop of film)
A series of Porsche 956 and 962s as raced at Le Mans in the 1980s, at the 79th Goodwood Members' Meeting

THE BODY PUFFS or Bath lily... (or Body-'scrunchies' as they are also commonly known) are an ex-foliating accessory in the bathroom/shower nowadays...
Made as a 'balled up' design, the material is some sort of netting fabric.
I find that the body puffs make it a more pleasant experience when in the bath or shower as they allow you to achieve a luxurious lather...
