The Kurilpa bridge sometimes refered to as chopsticks , to me it reminds me of the rigging of sailing ships without the boats , all masts booms and shrouds .

Looking down the high street
The shining festive lights of Shefford High Street in Bedfordshire, England are always a fantastic spectacle in December and early January every year, and this year was no different.
Congratulations to the White Hart Public House, the Church and all the other bodies and individuals who organise such an impressive display every year.
First light painting session in a very long time thanks to the fact I have moved to a city. Was great to get out in the mountains and stumbled across this.

I was at the theatre tonight. The play was Once a Catholic, a play set in a convent school in the late 1950's. As this photo shows it was very nicely staged and I thought the cast were excellent. It was very funny in parts, though for those of us who had a Catholic education it was also all too real... I felt it could have been half an hour shorter without losing anything of note but it was a very pleasant evening.
With all the newer, and taller buildings that can bee seen along the Quay Boardwalk, The Paddle Wheeler River Boat Tours Office still has that "Old- School" appeal, adding it to one of the great views along the Quay. Located just close from the World's Largest Tin Soldier, it's not hard to miss it with its bright colored lights.
