Very colourfully arranged shower caps in a really interesting shop called Laura Dols in the nine streets district of Amsterdam
Technology evolves over the years. In the case of swords (an age old technology), the pommel grips on epées (left) and foils (right) today are fairly evolved compared to the traditional stick that used to be there. And they also come in colours!
Close inspection to the right of each grip (but within the bell) will also reveal the electrical connections that we plug into before a bout. Each blade is outfitted with a spring-loaded electrical switch at the tip, and wires are glued into a groove that runs the length of the blade. If you strike your opponent (it's a very friendly, honour-bound sport) with sufficient force to depress the tip, the circuit is affected, and a light and buzzer go off. What happens after that depends on the weapon being fought, the appropriate targets for that particular weapon, and the rules of priority.
Yeah, you may have hit me, but I hit you first. We're both mortally wounded, but I win!
#iPPP2Day06 Take a photo with a focus and emphasize the focus with the colorsplash technique: the “everything else is black and white but one thing is still in colour” effect. The Color Splash app is one way to accomplish the effect.

This was the most fun I had doing my Unit 2. I love experimenting with colour and I'd seen this technique done a few times and wanted to try it myself.
I used a sound trigger, flash gun and an air rifle with the balloons suspended from the ceiling by wallhooks haha (my mums very patient with me destroying the house)
I shot in the dark with help from my amazing Dad so when the bang from the air rifle triggered the flash went off, illuminating the balloons and leaving me with these photos!
Comments are welcome, I'm new to this so I'd love to have some feedback :)
The Iphone 3g seemed so fast and beyond its time when first released, this now however is slow and seems to be lacking in the magic of the Iphone 4....... I myself will be waiting for the rumoured Iphone 5 later this year before updating....

Two more bibs - this shape has proved to be the favourite for several of the parents-of-toddlers among my friends - towelling is the perfect material, as it prevents the youghurt or soup from running onto the pants/floor/furniture, and the shape of the 'apron' easy to get in and out of.
Tutorial found here - trintje.blogspot.com/2008/04/how-to-make-best-bibs.html - it is brilliant, easy, and if you use bias tape from they shop, even fast to make.
I made my own, though.... :-) and used brightly colored towels from a sale last year. Two or four more bibs to come!
I made it before, too - have a look here, www.flickr.com/photos/notyetthedodo/2461047581/ - with an added pocket, because I thought it looked cute...but the parents assured me, it was not neccessary, as long as it was all terry cloth.
