A rainy day here today, so I thought I would have some fun with paints in the kitchen!

 

To do this I patiently drop watered down paint through a pipette onto a tile.. timing my shutter as it drops on the tile (or trying) One day I might invest in a proper drop kit.. but, I do quite like the results of the messy ones! And it's fun to do! :o)

What's better than making yourself a nice homemade latte in the morning? I know, making a photograph while also making yourself a nice homemade latte in the morning!

An Asian koel (Eudynamys scolopaceus) sitting on a palm frond giving me the evil-eye!

 

The image is in black and white, as this bird is jet-black with a pale-yellow beak and ruby-red eyes, so the colour-splash highlights this.
