Catherine Parr was Queen of England and of Ireland (1543–47) as the last of the six wives of King Henry VIII, and the final queen consort of the House of Tudor.

She married him on 12 July 1543, and outlived him by one year. She was also the most-married English queen, with four husbands. Her tomb lies in the private chapel at Sudeley Castle in the middle of the Cotswolds, the only Queen of England buried on a private estate

I am participating in a daily photo challenge by @KerrisdaleCamerasltd where a theme for the day is given and you have 24 hours to submit a photo. Yesterday’s theme was BLACK AND WHITE. Since I usually shoot black and white they decided to add a twist just for me. It was “Black and White with an emphasis on colour” This photo was the result.

Pure Imagination

----------

Hold your breath, make a wish, count to three...

Come with me

And you'll be

In a world of pure imagination

Take a look

And you'll see

Into your imagination

We'll begin

With a spin

Traveling in

The world of my creation

What we'll see

Will defy

Explanation

If you want to view paradise

Simply look around and view it

Anything you want to, do it

Want to change the world?

There's nothing to it

There is no

Life I know

To compare with pure imagination

Living there

You'll be free

If you truly wish to be

If you want to see magic lands

Close your eyes and you will see one

Want to be a dreamer, be one

Anytime you please and please save me one

Come with me

And you'll be

In a world of pure imagination

Take a look

And you'll see

Into your imagination

There is no

Place to go

To compare with your imagination

So go there

To be free

If you truly wish to be

Living there

You'll be free

If you truly wish to be

Since opening in 1926, Wollaton Hall has been home to the city's Natural History Museum. With a collection of 750,000 objects, ranging from fossils, minerals, plants and eggs to invertebrates, vertebrates, shells (molluscs) and taxidermy, as well as 'spirit' preserved animals and rare specimens from across the globe, Wollaton Hall is the largest dedicated Natural History museum in the county.

.... it truly is... pure Imagination :)

I'm not usually keen on colour splash, but I couldn't resist it on this one.

i wanted to have a play around with some coloured lights, but the only thing i could find to play with was my Lomo Coloursplash flash, so off i went into the bathroom and this is what came out........i have only just realised that i have done two days in a row with floating heads on a black background.....oh well its my 365, so there......
