colourful bird, don't know what type

Please view large

So many days the colour swirls in my head banging, loudly! Sending messages of release and freedom -- today the colours did not swirl... unexpectedly and all of a sudden they were there lined up in front of me almost blurry -- asking where I had been all day!

I posted a photo almost just like this one where they are kissing, but it was a simple black and white. I had a little fun with this version.

Colours patterns created using food colouring in milk with dishwashing liquid added

from the afternoon that i took photos for my summer project, 'i, in my intricate image.' at the beginning of september. ♥ p.s. apart from editing the colours slightly in curves, this is all straight out of the camera! :)

Taken enroute to the Studio Evening at Harbour Studio (I think) Around 5pm from the pier of the South Shields Ferry. As always, I have taken the original and then added some filters. In this case there was a crop and a very slight alteration of the exposure. I don't remember making any other edits.

I used some very old camera equipment for this shot.

I've got a Canon 300D from 2004 with a Tamron 90mm macro lens which I bought second hand in 1999 and 6-megapixel resolution to play with.

This is a portrait of my wife Anne in mono with her blues eyes colour popped. It was entered as a print in the 2nd open competition in the 2014/15 season. It was not placed.
