its actually a lovely pink flower! but i used the colour accent option in my cam.. to bring out this kind of colour... i think the flower is prettier this way!=)

Not the shot I was trying to take at all, Sam just wouldn't stop fooling around, getting in the way, jumping in front of every the camera every time I pressed the shutter.
Don't tell him, but I like the pictures he forced on me best of all those I took today, and this one gave me the chance to play with my new "toy" selective colouring.....
As you can probably guess this postbox was not originally purple! I couldn't really find anything interesting the shoot that was purple so I figured that post-processing could come to the rescue.
Week 12/52: Purple
a day with crappy weather, what better way to spend it than play with colours and light...
i started out using various lamps, flash and diffusers to get the colour right... i ended up using long expo's and a few bikelights...
please do not use, or move these pictures ANYWHERE without asking me, this includes facebook, your flickr site or any other online picture-sharing community...
Pete's beautiful picture of an autumn leaf inspired me to go out and look for some autumn colour in my garden.
Whist I didn't find any falling leaves, I did find the lantana in full flower covered in distinctly autumnal reds and oranges.

In this photo the vegetable is the main focus of the photograph. This brings attention to the bold colours of the vegetable. By placing the object on a grey like backroud, the colours become more obvious and bright to the eye.
