A couple of dragonflies in flight - shot in dull weather at ISO 640 & 800 respectively, hence a bit grainy/noisy.
The Rattlesnake master (Eryngium yuccifolium) blossom always has lots of activity from smallest to largest of insects. I won't hazard a guess as to the ID of these two larger ones.
The Mesquakies (also Meskwki, indigenous people called the Fox by the French) used the leaves and fruit in their rattlesnake song and dance.
An American Goldfinch keeps an eye on an incoming wasp.
(If anyone is able to identify the wasp for me, I'd be grateful.)
The Osprey is lifting the fish from the river and the duck is closing in fast, you can see it behind but heading towards him. At the last second the panicked duck had veered hard and just missed hitting the Osprey. I was the traffic cam I guess.

Fortunately, a gull photobombed my austere shot of a construction site, and livened things up considerably. Single exposure, ordinary post-processing. Happy Wing Wednesday! Zadar, Croatia

Little Corella testing the limits of the AF on the Sony A7RIV. I was sitting at the edge of the water taking shots of these little cuties flying about when this one decided to investigate. I was not quite prepared for a close encounter but it came out ok.

two planets met
shaking hands they let
their collision make a whole new way
they were so different it was clear
never more would they appear
separate
one brand new place
a life of love and kindness above all
for your never so tall
as to reach down and touch the small
fragile helpless life.
God said I am here
I am the sick, the poor and the destitute
and so reach for the stars
but remember where you are
look down on the ground
they are all around.
reach out today.
