Two red kites that I photographed during the feeding at Gigrin Farm in Wales last November. They appeared to be about to crash into each other but the one on the left was actually quite a bit further away than the other one.

Splash! Sony a6000 (ILCE-6000). Lens adapter Fotodiox pro EF/NEX in order to use this lens: Samyang 1.4/85mm AS IF UMC (CANON mount). 13mm extension tube. f/8.0. ISO 320. 1/160s. Flash power adjustment: 1/128 in order to freeze the scene. Two Yongnuo Speedlites YN560 IV were used. Retouching fun in post.

Had some fun with a new MIOPS Water Drop kit I've just purchased. Took a little while to get the drops timed perfectly and the flash se-up in the correct postion.
I couldn't get the collisions of the drops with the home made kit I've used in the past.
The Rattlesnake master (Eryngium yuccifolium) blossom always has lots of activity from smallest to largest of insects. I won't hazard a guess as to the ID of these two larger ones.
The Mesquakies (also Meskwki, indigenous people called the Fox by the French) used the leaves and fruit in their rattlesnake song and dance.
An American Goldfinch keeps an eye on an incoming wasp.
(If anyone is able to identify the wasp for me, I'd be grateful.)
