Also known as Lil, Lilypad, Liller and Miss Twitchytail - she's feisty! I've just discovered the NIK collection, so please bear with me - I may be insufferable for a while!
Three different engines from three different railroads and two builders mingle at Cincinnati, OH on July 2th 1974. C&O GP7 #5760 wears fresh Chessie paint, but notice the handrails were left unmasked and are not painted orange in this photo. B&O #3738 is a 1969 built GP40, and SP #8758 is a GE built U33C. A selection of globular springtails from our Staffordshire garden today. All found under fallen beech leaves on the lawn.
Top row; Sminthurinus aureus, both typical and dark forms. Bottom left Sphaeridia pumilis, bottom right Sminthurinus elegans.
The dark forms of Sminthurinus aureus are particularly numerous at the moment. One leaf that I looked under must have had several dozen on it!

When I posted a picture of the shelves in my lounge yesterday, people asked what I do with my other aircraft. Well, some of them, as well as most of my cars, end up on these shelves and cabinets in my LEGO room. This picture and yesterday's still don't cover everything. I haven't even included any of my minfig scale aircraft, or my U-2 and B-1, for instance. I do have a lot of LEGO!

Note the figures on the 1910 bill for plumbing work. Dec. 22- 30...dig a ditch and install 33 ft of pipe $26.50 for parts and labor and not the digger made more that the plumber did. HMM.
Time for a change, yet again. I have trouble doing the same thing for very long. Now I am trying some art and digital art - mixed media. Having a tremendous amount of fun and my enthusiasm and mojo have returned!
"The brain is a mirror and reflects the world. Of course we see pictures, not the real thing, but the pictures are dear to us, we come to love them even though we are aware how distorting an organ the mirror-brain is."

When the theme for this next round of Anthem was announces, I was filled with so much inspiration. The them is Dark Academia. As the collection was taking form, it began to tell me the tragic story of man who tried to control nature. I hope to put words to this story very soon.
🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂
The collection focused on Neo Gothic style which is a personal favourite for me. I truly hope you will love it just as much as I do.
This decor collection includes the following:
🍂 A little quirky cabinet as a fatpack bonus
🍂 Light Frames: Beautiful vintage Addison bulb DIY lighting. The pack includes a 3 frame shapes and a single lightbulb.
🍂 A dark wooden desk with leather ornamented working surface
🍂 Research: Books and magnifying glass to start the journey
🍂 Observation: A device to take a closer look at a magical creature.
🍂 Knowledge - A vintage highly detailed set of dip pen, ink and rocking blotter (I learned a new word) on a beautiful stand.
🍂 Too far - When a man tries to harvest forces of nature into a little bottle.
🍂 Curiousity - A glass dome with a tragic consequence.
🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂
This collection will be available starting October 3rd at Anthem
And you can find closeups of this beautiful collection at Oh Deer's Facbook Page
