Some of my Zippo collection, from the original Austrian model Zippo bought the patent to made their own, a 2 production model (3rd bottom row) with angled edges, to some Especial Editions.
I use 25' exposure with some wind blowing so the flame moves but does not goes off.
It's funny that I like so much lighters but not a smoker, never had the discipline that smokers needs.
But I do collect a lot of things, always liked to keep and preserve stuff, had coins, books, models, old radios, photos, lighters, pins, etc. Seems like I like to collect memories more than the object per se.
There is something "evocative" about about a Zippo, the distinctive click, the fluid smell, how it feels... the shape and color of the flame...
Thank you very much to people who like my work and think that it´s original. In the beginning I was not sure about my carving,
those big lips and those long orifices, but you made me feel ... stronger!!! jjjjjj!!
First Manchester: 69572 (BD13 OHL) a Wright Eclipse 2 bodied Volvo B7RLE, painted in corporate livery but with hardly any names applied and just a couple of smallish First logos. This vehicle is captured here on the stand in Shudehill Interchange waiting to operate a journey on Service 92 to Bury.

And this is a VERY small part of my whole collection. I have sooo many of them, I've been collecting them for over 20 years now. (I'm 31) I love mother-of-pearls, it has something magical to me.

Haven't photographed this girl in a while but I love this heavily edited portrait of her as... witch? A sorceress? A ghost bride? I have no idea, but I hope you're having a great Halloween night
Three different engines from three different railroads and two builders mingle at Cincinnati, OH on July 2th 1974. C&O GP7 #5760 wears fresh Chessie paint, but notice the handrails were left unmasked and are not painted orange in this photo. B&O #3738 is a 1969 built GP40, and SP #8758 is a GE built U33C. Stagecoach Manchester: 19506 (MX09 AUF) an Alexander Dennis Enviro 400, painted in corporate livery with an advert applied for ebay. This vehicle is seen in Manchester's Piccadilyl Bus Station departing on service 38 to Little Hulton.

Sitting here trying to figure out how I'm going to house them. I don't know yet for sure, but I think I'm leaning towards a rainbow. But its hard figuring out how to place the rainbow girls together with the natural girls, and my EBL girls will stay together on a seperate section of the Expedit I think...
