A vibrant overhead shot captures a diverse collection of handmade dolls, each uniquely dressed in colorful African wax print fabrics, arranged on a warm, polished wooden floor. The dolls vary in size, style, and attire, from traditional patterned dresses and headwraps to a simple white gown, showcasing rich cultural textiles and craftsmanship. The composition highlights the artistry and cultural heritage embodied in each hand-stitched figure, creating a visually rich and culturally resonant display.
Enjoyed the last couple of days photographing the Jays at the local WWT but I also had the chance to get some shots of robins, greenfinches, great tits, chaffinches, blue tits, collared doves and a magpie.
These are the occasional theme that we weren't completely interested in and therefore bought the occasional set that interested us. We did get most of the Aque raiders and will attempt to get the rest when we can.

I was lucky enough to visit Jack Naylors Collection once. I recently discovered these photos while going through boxes of images I have taken over the years. I thought many of you that were lucky enough to visit might enjoy another look. For those that were not lucky enough to visit. You might understand how infectious Jack's collection would be to a young new collector as I was back in 1982!

In 1997, Eugene and Sook Ki Moon established the Moon’s Book Club to provide Korean language materials for Hawaii’s public libraries. For 16 years, these dedicated volunteers, led by their inspirational leader, Mrs. Sook Ki Moon, have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars through donations/grants.
Now known as the Korean Library Foundation, this non-profit organization strives to heighten awareness of Korean culture, history and language in partnership with our 50 public libraries statewide.
The funds raised were used to create this impressive 20,000-volume collection (both PRINT Books and e-Books) located here at McCully-Moiliili Public Library, as well as satellite collections at Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library and Pearl City Public Library. The Foundation also garnered support from local businesses such as Palama Market, to enhance the library’s wildly popular K-drama DVD collection.

My somewhat eclectic collection of blue and white china! I was a rather tired when I took this photo and I'm afraid that I didn't take a very good shot of the china cabinet. I will take another photo at some point and try to remember to zoom in a tad LOL
