My intellivision games, plus the Intellicart and the Intellivoice module. Many of these came from a church sale, where my grandma got them for me for 5 bucks.

An overview look as of August 2020 at my collection of transit timetables, maps, schedules, ride guides, etc. that I've amassed so far. Many of these were picked up while visiting and fanning different systems, and several others were kindly given to me by fellow transit enthusiasts. This series of photos is based loosely by state or providence, but sometime city or region depending on what I actually have.

Cologne/Paris 5.10.06 From the 5th to the 8th of October 2006 the new eva gronbach

summer 2007 collection (women, mens, accessories, shoes) will be presented at the

Designer Salon RENDEZ-VOUS in Paris. It has been created in honour of german artist

Karl Valentin (1882 – 1948).

The collection is characterized by a slim silhouette, the hallmark of german artist and

comedian Karl Valentin’s appearance.

The clear shape is emphasised by the contrasting colours black, white and grey. The

collection comprises blazers, jackets, skirts, pants and shirts of which the clear cut is

intermitted by the material selection. Fine japanese ribbons complete the line. The

womens collection shows puff sleeves in different variations on shirts, blousons and

jackets.

Knitwear like pullovers and slip-ons with V-neck or roundneck have braces elements built

in. Slim ties, some of them knitted complete the suit line for men and women. Materials

are viscose, cotton and a cotton-metallic mix – some shiny fabrics and some with a matt

silk finish.

With her collections the young german designer sets topical issues in a new fashion

context and thus inspires discussions. She first caused a stir on the international fashion

scene with her collection 2000 "Declaration d’amour à l’Allemagne".

Eva Gronbach: “It is exciting to see how fashion is able to alter peoples perceptions.“

The latest spring/summer 2007 collection is created in honour of german artist Karl

Valentin (1882-1948)

eva gronbach worked for Yohji Yamamoto, Paris, Stephen Jones and John Galliano

M.A.

Her clothes are sold in Europe, USA as well as in Japan.

David Teniers the Younger (1630-90) - Gambling scene at an inn (detail)

Kensitas flowers were woven from silk and given away with Kensitas cigarettes in 1933 & 1934. Never before or since their issue has a silk been given away contained in an outer protective card.

They were in two collections, about 100 in all I think.

I bought these few, from 1933, at a collectors' fair about twenty years ago. This size was given in packets of 20 cigarettes,

Postcard size given with packets of 50 - I've never seen these.

There are full details at www.kensitas-silkflowers.co.uk/

I've recently seen them used in a crazy quilt so I may use one or two - though it's nice to have them in their original little folders.

This little display case will be changed all the time for inspiration

Sleeping child 2...

Went to a WWII reenactment this weekend and purchased a few things for my collection.

The Ike Jacket I bought at the reenactment. As you can see it has the 78th Infantry Division patch on it, which by coincidence is the division my grandfather was in.

All the pics from 2015. Not all taken in 2015 - many were still being uploaded from 2014 (and if I do this next year, it will have lots from this year of course).

It's looking very black and white in there.

Compare to this, and also this.
