I'm only missing Summer Sunset cavey in this picture. He's on his way to me right now though. Please also forgive the terrible quality. I'm without a camera right now. I used the SD card that I had for my camera to homebrew my Wii, so I had to order a new one today. I should have my camera running again by the end of the week.

The artist’s “Culinary Collection” is a selection of 8 small paintings, each depicting an exquisite jewel from the earth’s bounty. Enjoyed alone or as a fabulous artistic salad, this collection is sure to satisfy even the most discriminating palate. Here, Christopher M. renders still-life compositions in their simplest form; yet painted with a complexity only deciphered by an artist’s eye. Using colors selected by nature, luscious hues and rich texture dominate each canvas like a master chef creating a fine delicacy. Ironically, the simple pleasures in life are by far the most delicious. Even a sophisticated culinary creation starts with the most basic ingredients. In the same way a painter who, using only his paint and brush, prefers the mystique of the minimal to serve up a tantalizing appreciation for fine art composition. And as consumers, we delight in the feast before us.

The Town Hall Photographer’s Collection is a large photographic collection held in Manchester City Council’s Central Library archives, ranging in date from 1956 to 2007.
The collection consists of tens of thousands of images, covering the varied areas of work of Manchester Corporation and latterly, Manchester City Council.
The photographs were taken by staff photographers, who were tasked to document the work of Corporation/Council departments and, in doing so, captured many aspects of Manchester life and history, including significant changes to the Manchester landscape.
The collection includes many different formats from glass negatives, to slides, prints, CDs and even a couple of cine films.
What is especially exciting is that the majority of these images have never before been available in a digital format and therefore have only ever been seen by a handful of people.
A team of dedicated Staff and Volunteers are currently working on the systematic digitisation of the negatives held within the collection.
This album represents the result of their work to date.

playing with long exposures at home in the evening. no remote shutter release, so i had to do this w/ a timer, handheld, aided only by a small pillow to stabilize me and it. getting my head low enough to the ground while keeping the camera tilted up was a challenge.

Original Description (from Book): c. 1847, altered c.1900 and later. This house originally looked like its Greek Revival neighbors but has been repeatedly altered, first by the addition of a mansard roof and later by its conversion into a restaurant. The house retains a great deal of character, and it was owned in 1876 by Mr. J. M. Gregory.
