Brief synthesis
Located in the foothills of the Himalayas, the Kathmandu Valley World Heritage property is inscribed as seven Monument Zones. These monument zones are the Durbar squares or urban centres with their palaces, temples and public spaces of the three cities of Kathmandu (Hanuman Dhoka), Patan and Bhaktapur, and the religious ensembles of Swayambhu, Bauddhanath, Pashupati and Changu Narayan. The religious ensemble of Swayambhu includes the oldest Buddhist monument (a stupa) in the Valley; that of Bauddhanath includes the largest stupa in Nepal; Pashupati has an extensive Hindu temple precinct, and Changu Narayan comprises traditional Newari settlement, and a Hindu temple complex with one of the earliest inscriptions in the Valley from the fifth century AD. The unique tiered temples are mostly made of fired brick with mud mortar and timber structures. The roofs are covered with small overlapping terracotta tiles, with gilded brass ornamentation. The windows, doorways and roof struts have rich decorative carvings. The stupas have simple but powerful forms with massive, whitewashed hemispheres supporting gilded cubes with the all-seeing eternal Buddha eyes. - Read more: whc.unesco.org/en/list/121

My Budapest, September-October 2011 set in my European Union and Eastern Europe collections.

The white, red and green stone embroidery work in mango motif at the back will get your crazy side stay put with the smile that camera would wanna see in your eye. The round red and white beaded motif and crystal with stone beaded latkans will let you feel winning your life by losing yourself from that day on. Give your all to this intricate embroidery detailing in the sleeves just to see the grand gatsby attitude in you on your D day. This blouse is held back in the bridal you collection, thus.
Monster High Collection. I should probably get another job before I buy anymore. I'm a little ashamed of this.

My cousin and I play Words with Friends everyday and I swear she cheats. I love her dearly but she has a tendency to be a little airheaded. For example, we live very close to a lake and we were at the beach on this lake very early in the spring and there was something in the almost melted snow and we have her on camera saying it was probably a seal.
A seal?
In a lake?
With no ocean access at all?
But I love her regardless. She's my favorite cousin. But I still think she cheats. The highlighted words are hers. This is also the same girl that came up with words like Tele-Pathetic which we still raz her about now.

The Minolta SRT 101b was an improved version of the SR-T 101. Its new features were the hot shoe for the flash and the film memo holder on the back. Everything else stayed the same.

The Gaia Hypothesis
"The Earth System behaves as a single, self-regulating system with physical, chemical, biological, and human components"
I loved the idea that the Earth itself is a self regulating complex organism in its own right, and that all the elements natural and human are linked. Gaia, of course, is the Ancient Greek Goddess Mother Earth
This collection is inspired by this idea. I used a central gemstone to represent the planet, and have handwoven, beautiful Tourmaline rondelles around the "planets" to represent the elements and the biosphere.
The central gemstones, are a blue and a yellow cloudy Aquamarine gemstones, and two Indian Jasper gemstones, one a deep green, the other a pinky/reddy brown

I have been finding the most amazing 1970's ceramic bowls and vases at the Goodwill I frequent. I have changed from the big wooden bowl displaying my rock collection to these smaller, ceramic collection of bowls. At least for now.
