PERSONAL FUN FACT: The Decor Collection uses preexisting Barbie sets in bright color schemes. This bedroom was originally for the 2002 Living In Style range. Colleen had that set when we were growing up. Naturally, I recognized these pieces straight away when we found them. Back in the spring of 2015, I noted what looked to be a doll house on the side of the road. I was on my way to pick my sister up at work, so I didn't have the chance to investigate. I mentioned it to Colleen when we were returning home. She walked over to the neighbor's house to see if there were any goodies in their pile of free stuff. Lo and behold, she found the mother load of dolls and playsets. We dubbed this the "Free Friday Finds Lot." That's where this Decor Collection Bedroom Playset originated from. I would have assumed it was a color variation of the Living In Style one. However, I had familiarized myself with the Decor Collection while doing research online in years past. So I knew this was in fact a different set. As it turned out, most of the smaller components were still there! I should say that this set isn't 100% identical in terms of contents to the Living In Style one. The wardrobe is smaller. Instead of having the two additional side pieces, this one only has the center portion (which is the largest compartment). It also came with fabric bedding, which the 2002 Living In Style one was not packaged with, As much as I am nostalgic for the 2002 set, I have to admit that I prefer this one's vibrant, fun color scheme! There are different color variations of this set (see my chair comparison for reference).

With the addition of Vinyl Scratch, Derpy, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, my Build-A-Bear pony collection is complete! Yes, I know, BaB makes a few more FiM plush, but these are all my favorite characters, so as far as I'm concerned, I'm done. ^^

(Please pardon the added image noise, I have been shooting at higher than normal ISO lately. I've been missing the look of film grain.)
Here's a few pics of my Video Game Collection. I'm 39 yrs old and an avid gamer and collector since the 80's. My Virtual Boy however is somewhere in my closet and not pictured here. Enjoy.
