Yes, I am giving things away! Just make me a Flickr contact and make a comment on my new blog: (http://ladamadecollage.wordpress.com/) by Sunday night. I'll draw names for the tags on Monday and let you know via Flickrmail if you won!

*Update*: Only one person made me a Flickr contact and made a comment on my new blog. So, fun new old (Nina) gets all three tags. Congratulations!

*Newer Update*: So, either wordpress stinks or I'm a complete computer idiot because I cannot figure it out. I thought it would be nice to just start over, but when I finally realized that the template couldn't be changed and I couldn't figure out how to add things to the sidebar with the "widgets," I decided to go back to blogspot. Here's the new url: ladamadecollage.blogspot.com/

These archival shots are from a showing of a collaborative collage project of mine held @ my Frostburg apartment in February 2K1 -- they were created in conjunction with my old friend Marc Slanger, and we hung them for a CD release party. Marc & another old friend, Tyler Ralston, recorded a no budget set of songs as a tribute to the late Lord Sutch – Screaming Lord Slanger & the Ralstons. They actually did a live performance! We also had TVs placed around the place showing original films by Marc. A very unique event.

These photos were shot with a very, very cheap camera, and do neither justice to the apartment (which was most of the space over the old Palace Theatre in downtown Frostburg) nor the collages. I just wanted to post these because I plan to use a better camera to shoot details of collages & post them here sometime soon. Thanks for stopping by. =)

[This is Marc. I talked him into working on these w/ me.]

This is a photogamer.com challenge. Choose one of these and leave a comment saying that you chose it (so no one else pics it). Then copy it as a photograph and upload using the same title to flickr.com/groups/photogamer and when we have them all copied, we'll put them back together. It's a collaborative collage!

Nottingham 10k today... the very first one. It was tougher than I expected, plenty of hills especially in the last mile. Somehow, I managed to finish quicker than I did at Lincoln last month - and Lincoln was flat! I kept an eye on the 1:15 pacer the whole way round, hoping I might beat Lincoln's time of 1:16:31, and almost caught him up at the end, finishing in 1:15:06 - chuffed with that, not a PB but a 2016 PB!

This was 10k #2 of a series of 6, I'm raising cash for the RNLI, and just in case six races aren't enough for one year I've also entered a half marathon and a trail 10k later in the year :-)
