Kindergarten Mother's Day flower collage on watercolor background. I saved all of our patterned paper from our mitten and hat portraits. Those trimmings were made into petals from Feb. on while I was watching TV. They had nice crayon snippets of our pattern making. I saved all scraps of contstruction paper after that too for some solid petals. I saved leftovers for green too but had to use new paper too. The students who were absent on watercolor day had white backgrounds so I quickly grabbed leftover blue construction paper and cut them flower pots! They were thrilled and now their gifts don't look so stark. I hope some of the moms will frame these as I think they turned out lovely!

Since Papa Zibel is in town helping Northrop with her little pigs project we broke out the photo boxes and had a great time recalling events and people and places. I thought I would share this one with you. On the left is my Great Aunt Spiral but no one seemed to remember what was happening here.
Taken one day a week of two ago, thought it made a funny collage!
Note the mirror image in my lens of him :)

Inspired by MacAddict's cool collages. I did some grilling tonight, so I snapped off a few pics. Should have taken one of me chowing down on the BBQ, but once I started eating, I forgot all about taking pictures :-(.
I did the collage in Photoshop, didn't use Posterino like Mac, but it was fun to put together. For those of you not familiar with MacAddict's work, he does these great "Day In the Life" collages where he captures the activities he and his family participated in that day. They will certainly be great for him and his family to look back on when the kids are older. I hope to do something similar when my little bundle of joy comes along in a few months :-).

Dumpster collage at the top of the three part wall hanging. Luan door skin panel from a construction dumpster for the base, southwestern calendar and desert live pictures from discarded magazines and library books.
Designed on Adobe Photoshop
I designed this informative poster on Adobe Photoshop to advertise my schools' annual Charity Dinner. I followed a brief and the theme was celebrating the diversity of Kuala Lumpur and highlighting at least one Global Goal. I chose 'life below water' and 'clean water and sanitation.' My approach was inspired by collage Art. The inclusion of the tentacles help to represent life under water, and its struggle to stay alive, as well as how it struggles to keep up with the rapid development of our modern world.
Collage from 2005. Only notable person: Marie Antoinette. Favorite aspect of college; "If you believe in love at first sight, you never stop looking." which was a tag line for Closer.
