This is a collaborative project with Oblivion Builder.
For years the Sith Empire hid in the shadows, preparing to strike once again. In their campaign to take control of the Raioballo sector, Dantooine was a target of high priority. In an attempt to cut off the Republic’s supply lines; the Empire is slowly seizing control of all critical infrastructures such as railways and spaceports. Sergeant Kolan – in between all the fighting – made a log of his thoughts, interests and daily pursuits.
-There is plenty of untouched beauty on this planet. To clear my mind in between all the harsh fighting, I assigned myself a little side project. Except for the beautiful endless plains, there are also rough, stunning gemstones in the many streams of water on this planet. I would like to have more time to focus on discovering and researching these fascinating jewels. The battles are vicious and loud. I hope we can put an end to this campaign soon, for the sake of my research and for the sake of all our lives! Sergeant Kolan, out.-

Upon entering the city of Buellton via Avenue of the Flags, one cannot help but notice three pyramidal structures, magenta, yellow and cyan, which do not seem to serve any purpose, so they must be art. They were commissioned by the Museum of Contemporary Art, Santa Barbara and are on display in this location through the fall.

Nelson Central School is a public primary school located in the heart of Nelson, New Zealand. Founded in the mid-19th century, it is one of the oldest schools in the region. The school provides quality education, focusing on the academic, social, and emotional development of its students. It features spacious, green grounds with modern facilities for its pupils. A year ago, I published our first collaborative photo. Here we go again. We have changed, but not the fact that I love this woman and work with her wonderful being.

Collaborative build with Trevor2004
A while back I showed Trevor a rough idea for an A-wing fuselage using the flexible spike elements for the tapering sides. He suggested the mad (but ingenious) throwbot and Technic figure visor combination for the canopy. Many months of collaborative building, WIP pic sharing and problem-solving later, we're finally happy to call our A-wing complete!
Model info:
- Very fragile but still just about swooshable
- 23 studs long, 16.5 studs wide
- Fits x1 full minifig (yes really)
Proof it does fit a fig, selected WIP images and some sort of breakdown coming soon

The joy of receiving not one but two rolls of film from the lab is about as good as it gets. The hard part is resisting to dump them all onto Flickr. I will be creating a few new sets, including one based around the idea of the "New Topographics" exhibition from 1975. My interpretation will have a heavier emphasis on nature, with man-made structures serving more as accents. Still need to hash the idea out fully, and think of a title.
Coming soon to the Liaison Collaborative, we bring inspiration from the Isles of the Caribbean!

Lots of items to point out in this view from the Tilikum Crossing Bridge looking west into Portland's South Waterfront district.at the Collaborative Life Sciences Building.
The red sculpture Aril by Christian Moeller - The idea that served as inspiration for this sculpture on the grounds of the new Life Science Building of Portland’s State University was the highly geometrical and abstract visual representations of molecular structures. Like a tree, the sculpture will consist of a trunk and branches made of cylindrical tubes holding one hundred colored spheres. (See christianmoeller.com/Aril ) Next to it is a MAX Orange Line Trimet light rail train. Overhead, traveling above the fall foliage, is the Portland Aerial Tram carrying commuters between the city's South Waterfront district and the main Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) campus, located in the Marquam Hill neighborhood. — at OHSU OUS Collaborative Life Sciences Building and Skourtes Tower.
