It might be the years of neglect, the walnut tree shading the bed or the drought - I do not know why -this is the average size of strawberries in my garden this year...
I don't mind though, as long as they have all the flavor of the big ones concentrated in these tiny pieces of awesomeness.
For Macro Mondays -- on a coin
the pedestal here is a 1 Pengő coin:
Pengő was the official currency of Hungary from 1927 until 19246, when it suffered the most serious case of hyperinflation ever recorded in the history.
this piece here was produced in 1941 when 5 Pengő equaled 1 USD, however, by the summer of 1946 1 USD converted to 460000000000000000000000000000 Pengő
Sizewise: it has the same diameter as the 1 EUR coin, I also experimented with 1 EUR as a base for the shot but I figured I like the look and the story of this coin better.

When you have over $50 in quarters on hand you have to mess around with the possibilities. I was just trying out some patterns to see what I could come up with that was interesting. I liked the slight distortion the 28mm provided, I'd like a little more golden color in the light than I got.
Coin Paratha also known as Malabar paratha or Jalebi paratha. It origined in Kerala state of India. It is very similar to North Inidian Lachcha paratha. The only difference being it to be more layered, flaky and crisp .
