Stimuli used for the identity-information estimation. The manipulation of the phase-coherence percentage allowed us to estimate the amount of information each participant needed to identify each face with 75% accuracy
In May 2018 I was invited as artist on board on Kleronia, a 18 mt. cutter, in team with a video maker, a writer and a few skippers, to support the “Cognition in the wind” research project directed by Roberto Casati (Institut Jean Nicod, CNRS ENS EHESS, Paris). We navigate between Rome, the Pontine Islands and Gaeta. Watch a video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TpY-AeXRNk

"There can be no knowledge without emotion. We may be aware of a truth, yet until we have felt its force, it is not ours. To the cognition of the brain must be added the experience of the soul. "

Cognition- The act or process of knowing.
I felt the best way to show the process of knowing was by somebody learning. And so I found this picture of a man, in a library studying.
I found a thought bubble off google and used the magic wand to rid of all that wasn't the black outline. Then using the Past In to process, I got the civil war picture inside. The text, got some outer and inner glow to it, along with some contour on the word, cognition.
