Extra shots from our "Żołnierze Wyklęci" episode of Tajemnice Historii. We actually had the chance to work with over 40 historians/actors each with their own outfits and gear. One of our favorite episodes to date.

her (somewhat silly) codename instills fear in even the bravest man's heart, and is know for ruthlessly chasing evil until it is vanquished

Codename: Leader

File Name: Daniel

For years the shape shifting aliens from Alpha's team have been visiting Earth and trying to integrate with human culture. The planets within their own star system are slowly loosing the ability to sustain life and Earth is the only place, so far, that they've found to be hospitable. As a side note it seems in recent times that they are even responsible for the surge in certain subcultures. Special investigations should make further inquiries into the rise of "Furrys" to ascertain how many of them may be invading aliens. Their cover has been so good that A51 had misplaced their case with the Soldiers of Horror supernatural unit until Daniel approached us. He was concerned about the fact that Earth is also becoming as unlivable as their own planets and he hoped by working with A51 perhaps there would be a way to reverse the damage before humanity also has to go in search of a new home world. Unfortunately the only way that he was willing to work with us was if we were to recruit his blood brother, the human James Beam, as their liaison to A51.

DongFeng 15 (Export name: M-9; NATO codename: CSS-6, Chinese: East Wind 15), a Short-Range Ballistic Missile, is the only non-nuclear missile in service with the PLA Second Artillery Corps (i.e. strategic missile force).

The missile shown here is most probably a DongFeng15B, which is fitted with four small fins at midsection for corrections at the final phase of the flight.

This vehicle is a TAS5450 or WS2400 8X8 transporter-erector-launcher (TEL) vehicle.

Apparently, only after this vehicle had paraded passed the Tiananmen Square was the camuoflage sheet pulled over the missile.

The Sukhoi Su-27 heavy air superiority fighter - codenamed 'Flanker' by NATO - was designed during the Cold War as a Soviet counter to potential Western opponents such as the US Air Force's F-15 Eagle. It first flew in 1977. Service entry began during 1985, and when the 'Flanker' started appearing at Western air displays in the hands of Sukhoi test pilots, starting at Paris in 1989, it astounded spectators with its manoeuvrability.

In the post-Soviet era, the original Su-27 series has continued to equip the Russian armed forces, and carried on serving with the Ukrainian Air Force as well as other former Soviet states and several export customers. The design has continued to be developed for both Russia and overseas markets, some of the latest derivatives incorporating thrust vectoring.

The Ukrainian Su-27s (one P model and one UB model) that are coming to Fairford for RIAT 2019 are on the strength of the 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade, based at Myrhorod in central Ukraine.

Grey Ranks (Polish: Szare Szeregi) was a codename for the underground Polish Scouting Association (Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego) during World War II. The organisation was created on September 27, 1939, actively resisted and fought German occupation until January 18, 1945 in Warsaw and largely contributed to all resistance actions of the Polish Underground State and some of its members (Grupy Szturmowe) were among the best trained troops of the Home Army. Among groups belonging to the Grey Ranks, there were the White Couriers, who between late fall of 1939 and mid-1940 helped to smuggle numerous persons from Soviet-occupied southeastern Poland to Hungary.

Though formally independent, the Szare Szeregi cooperated closely with the Government Delegation for Poland and the Headquarters of the Home Army. The Grey Ranks were headed by their own headquarters, the Naczelnictwo, manned by 5 or 6 members.

We have four groups of... dare I call them 'officers' ...on the ground here in Portland for Trump's phony war B.S. which he has codenamed Operation Legend.

1: Trump's Gestapo. These are the unidentified and unaccountable secret police stormtroopers dressed in camo, as if they think they landed in Fallujah circa 2004. They have no defined mission. In theory, they're here to protect the federal building from graffiti, but they end up roaming the streets in squads late each night in search of battles to create.

2: Homeland Security. As seen here, they're dressed in black and are often being mistaken for Portland Police. Their uniforms say DHS Police, and their mission is equally unclear. This particular jackass has a sticky note on his shield with what looks like a kite drawn on it. WTF is up with the KITE? Also notice the stormtrooper hiding behind him. DHS seems to be taking the lead role with the stormtroopers as backup - but I suspect that's at least partly because the stormtroopers were not trained for this mission and at least some of them seem to be scared.

3: Customs And Border Patrol. CPB Police are in the city, but I have yet to see them around the federal building. They clash with protesters as DHS and Trump's stormtroopers push protesters into parts of downtown which the protesters didn't come here to protest in, such as the shopping and business districts.

4: Portland Police. The mayor is the commissioner in charge of overseeing the Portland Police Bureau, but the head of the police union seems to be calling the shots. The PPB doesn't know whose side they're on. The mayor wants the feds to leave. The union is siding with the feds, and often with white supremacists.

As I look at this photo I took last night, I don't know why I find the kite more infuriating than the goddamn gas masks. It's there for a reason.

I wonder if the guy with the kite knows how all of this is going to end.

The guy with the camera knows it's going to end badly.

Being talented in stealth and deception, Agent Banks makes a great double agent. He has secretly served in and helped sabotage the P.R.I.A. (Provisional Irish Republican Army) and the secret Black Lotus Agency, which was formed to push the British out of Hong Kong, China. He received his education at the Sandhurst Military Academy and in the British S.A.S., which was why MI6 took interest in him. Often, Banks is in situations where he holds many lives in his hands. As of now, he serves undercover as a U.S. domestic terrorist.

After the success of the PGM-17 Redstone, the US Army began working on a more accurate, smaller intermediate range ballistic missile (IRBM). The US Navy was beginning work on a similar project, submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBM), so the two services partnered in development of what was codenamed Project Jupiter. Though the Redstone was not much more than an advanced version of the German V-2, the Jupiter offered better range (1500 miels) and far more accuracy: it could hit within half a mile of its target, unheard of in the early 1950s. With a 1.5 megaton punch, the Jupiter more than likely would be able to destroy even hardened or mobile targets. This was very useful to the Army, as the Redstone could only realistically hit either large formations or cities.

The Navy pulled out of the Jupiter project due to its liquid fuel (which was too risky on a submarine) to work on the Polaris project, but the Army continued on. The accuracy of the Jupiter found an enemy in the USAF, which was already working on its own IRBM--the Thor, which was longer ranged but nowhere near as accurate, and intended as a "city-buster." The Thor in turn was subordinate to the Atlas ICBM. The USAF pressured Congress to cancel the Jupiter entirely.

The Jupiter was saved by the launch of Sputnik I by the USSR in 1957. So shocked and terrified was Congress that the Jupiter and the Thor were put into full production immediately. Designated PGM-19, Jupiters began to roll off the assembly lines in 1958, with the first going active at bases in Italy and Turkey in 1961. By that time, however, the Army was stripped of the IRBM role, which was handed over to the USAF--which in turn had never really wanted anything to do with the Jupiter. Though meant as a mobile missile, the Jupiters were deployed to fixed sites, manned by mixed American and Italian or Turkish crews.

In the end, the Jupiter was not really needed. Technology moved so swiftly at the time that it was obsolete when deployed, and tying it to fixed sites meant that there was a good chance they would be destroyed before they could even launch. By 1962, only a year or so after deployment, the Jupiters were already scheduled to be withdrawn from service--but they did act as a useful bargaining chip between President John F. Kennedy and Premier Nikita Khrushchev during the Cuban Missile Crisis. The Jupiters were indeed withdrawn in 1963; only a few people knew it was part of the deal that ended the Crisis.

The Jupiter's saga was not quite over. Several were converted for research into manned suborbital flight, carrying squirrels and monkeys into space ahead of the Mercury program. It also served as the basis for the Juno satellite launchers and early Saturn 1B rockets.

This Jupiter at the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History is wedged between its rival, the Thor, and the much larger Titan II ICBM. It is one of only about six PGM-19s left in the world. I'm not sure if operational Jupiters carried USAF markings.

I'm sorry I haven't been here for awhile. I got lost on the road of life. Kakashi says hi. Anyway this is my attempt to make a lego mech. Since i usually want to make my builds sturdy they always come out a bit bulky, which is find with me. If I ever get extra parts I'll make a Loke and Thor version too. Close up on the head.

I am quite sure those three guys there had a secret meeting to start up the French Resistance again.. and our kids were already drawing the plans!

Utah Beach was the codename for one of the Allied landing beaches during the D-Day invasion of Normandy, as part of Operation Overlord on 6 June 1944. Utah was added to the invasion plan toward the end of the planning stages, when more landing craft became available.

Despite being substantially off course, the U.S. 4th Infantry Division landed there with relatively little resistance, in contrast to Omaha Beach where the fighting was fierce.

Utah beach, about 3 miles (5 km) long, was the westernmost of the five landing beaches, between Pouppeville and La Madeleine. A practice run for these landings, known as Exercise Tiger, took place in April 1944 on the southern coast of the United Kingdom. This training exercise resulted in 749 American servicemen perishing and nearly 300 being wounded after poorly executed naval escort permitted an attack by German E-boats on the landing force.
