About the Photo:
After 7 months (last shoot was Decemeber 30, 2012) of hibernating~ I got my camera fixed (but not my lens) and was able to buy a new camera (Dual-wielder mode HELLO!?).
I wanted to test my new camera so badly that I asked my friends if there's any shoot happening this weekend and luckily I was invited to one by Jhe.
And gez what? Its Jerry Polencé~ Like WTF~?! I am suppose to just test my X100S~ :v
Oh well, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED !!
Told myself that I will only take 5 STANDARD PHOTOS (of my taste of course) but I end up trigger happy-ing again~ :v
Next problem was "how am I going to Post-process these photos?"
***my Lightroom cant read RAWS from my X100S so I end up editting the ones from my 1000D ^_^v
...still warming-up with my workflow so I'll leave you with this one~ Promise the next one will be much better~ :D

We spent a few hours playing around with the some different lighting setups last night. The idea with this was to try to get the look of a warning light going off.
This was lit with one snooted SB800 from under the mask, and one red gelled SB800 to high camera right.
Subject: Milai Sapphire dressed as Villetta from Code Geass
Strobist: SB-24 on the floor camera left, aimed at the white ceiling, spilling on to the wall. Another SB-24 about shoulder-level off camera right for some fill. No Gels - warm tone is due to reflections of the wood surfaces. Flash on the right probably should have had a gel though, because the brighter spot under the left arm is blue-ish looking. Some diffusion on tha flash would have helped too.
Post: Color correction & Rotation in Digikam. Other minor touch-up in GIMP.
The concept was to make the image look like it is from one of the meetings held below Ashford Academy.

Today while grocery shopping with Rich I saw a hipster dude in his 30's holding hands with a hipster girl; no big deal; but then I noticed a hanky hanging out of his left pocket (Hanky code is old school gay from way back before I was even born) but it would seem after going through the internet that this is a new hispter thing to do. Hanky codes should be left in the past. Enough said.
