I am not very comfortable taking photos on the street, but I took my camera out yesterday for a little walk and some more practice with my lensbaby.
We slipped into their outdoor setting and had a drink!
What was odd and/or lucky was the fact that the sky was basically overcast and just sort of opened for a short time just at the right time......Cheers and Hope all are having a good weekend.

I suppose the inspiration for my catchy title is the fact that part of the house is reflected in the wine. Oh, clever Me.
Macro Monday "Found In The Kitchen" A small bucket and a single ice cube are key items found in my kitchen.
A new squirrel has been visiting me on the back deck and she's even bolder than Squiggy. She's a great little model...and she works for peanuts! I named her Tippy because she's missing the tip of her tail.
For those of you who might be wondering about Squiggy...yes, she's still around. She just doesn't visit as often. I guess she has better things to do these days. ;~)
Edit: I've decided to change the new squirrel's name from Tippy to Tipsy! And BTW, don't worry, it's just a little food coloring in some water.

Orange Marmalade Whiskey Sour
* Ice
* 2 1/2 ounces bourbon
* 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
* 3/4 ounce Simple Syrup
* 1 teaspoon orange marmalade 1
* dash of orange bitters
* 1 orange twist
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the orange twist and shake vigorously for 30 seconds to dissolve the marmalade. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with the orange twist.
If you are familiar with these series of shots I occasionally do, you will recall the Glass and Reflection in the Glass to be spot on focus with the background going a little soft. I think I have explained how I do these and it surely is not rocket science. I hold the Glass with my Left Hand and Hold the Big old SLR Camera one handed with my right hand, all the time moving the glass so as to get the perfect reflection into the glass. So, it becomes obvious I can't just stop the Camera down to F/22 with a shutter speed of 1/2 second and get any semblance of a decent image. In this case, I just loved the patterns in the clouds and wanted them sharp. So I got my background in focus and the glass and it's reflections a bit soft. But the trees that are seen through the glass are also spot on sharp. Either way, an Image is an Image, and it certainly took less time to take the shot than to write this speech.....
