One of several cocktail drinks available in the Clarion The Edge Hotel.

This seemed to glow in the darkened light of the hotel bar.

Not sure if any of the ingredients made it glow { Casamigos Mezcal, Rooster Tequila, Ginger Ale, Cucumber and Acacia Honey}.

No idea what it tasted like but did look impressive, and at around £14.50 quite a price compared with the UK.

A Montukey Mule and Apple Martini satisfies that craving for a delightful cocktail. The headframe spirits distillery is one the most interesting drinking holes in Butte Montana. The bartenders mix a delightful cocktail while you mingle with the local characters. The decor helps transport you to a time when mining in Butte was the life blood of the City. The worst thing about this place is the two drink limit.

This drink was served at a wedding I attended last week.

There is a cute little cocktail glass printed all over this dress (see inset), so I suppose it has to be a cocktail dress! It is a "fit and flare" style, with a fitted body and a deliciously flippy hem. It was a bit of a wriggle to put on, but once the zip was up my side it fitted perfectly and flicked as I walked.

Another cocktail, because why not, its sunny!

"Blackberry Cosmos - Party Cocktail" by Patti Deters. Here is a festive and fun party cocktail - the Blackberry Cosmos. It tastes delicious, is pretty to look at, and very easy to drink. This red alcoholic beverage is garnished with a lemon twist and an actual black raspberry. An artistic purple sparkle light background has been added to bring out the festive party theme of this modified drink of vodka spirits and other yummy additions. Please enjoy more of my photography art at patti-deters.pixels.com/featured/blackberry-cosmos-party-....

Sorry. 1st few times posting in flickr. So didnt take notice of exif data.

Anyway, i placed a Vivitar 285hv at the back for background light. Another 580ex right below the glass. Dropped an ice cube inside and fired on cam.

Vivitar was set at 1/8 power while 580ex was set at 1/16.

Picture of setup can be found here.

Cocktail tasting at Perry's

Cocktails available at Four Seasons Los Angeles

Composition of the cocktail : rhum, orange juice, abricot juice and lemon.

Set : black velvet background, cocktail is on a mirror. Horizont line was photoshopped.

Light : One continuous Hedler C12 (1000 W) with white umbrella. At 2 o'oclock (camera is on 6:00)

Fill in light : 2 white styro foam in a triangle, with camera at the end of the triangle. (see comment for lighting diagramm)

This was just some test shot. I think the light is too bright but I really wanted something not too flat. Still improving my "one light source" set... Advices are welcome.
