When the photo was finished and the hotel was waiting for cock to fall in front of the cock I felt very good in front of the face, I do not know if I could capture the frame properly
A disused quarry to the east of Glossop. There is also a disused road, now very overgrown for about a mile from Old Glossop to the quarry. I have been unable to find when quarrying finished here - perhaps someone can tell me?
Taken on 09 Mar 2016 at the Low Barns Nature Reserve near Bishop Auckland, Co. Durham.
It was a mostly-rainy day, and the light was poor all the time I was there. I did something I do very rarely - I set my camera on unlimited burst mode (whereby, I just keep the button pressed and the camera just keeps on taking photos about 0.9 s apart). However, of the c. 900 photos I took that day, perhaps 10% turned out not to have motion blur or be slightly off focus or be too grainy.

About the Breed
The merry and frolicsome Cocker Spaniel, with his big, dreamy eyes and impish personality, is one of the world's best-loved breeds. They were developed as hunting dogs, but Cockers gained their wide popularity as all-around companions. Those big, dark eyes; that sweet expression; those long, lush ears that practically demand to be touched'no wonder the Cocker spent years as America's most popular breed. The Cocker is the AKC's smallest sporting spaniel, standing about 14 to 15 inches. The coat comes in enough colors and patterns to please any taste. The well-balanced body is sturdy and solid, and these quick, durable gundogs move with a smooth, easy gait. Cockers are eager playmates for kids and are easily trained as companions and athletes. They are big enough to be sporty, but compact enough to be portable. A Cocker in full coat rewards extra grooming time by being the prettiest dog on the block. These energetic sporting dogs love playtime and brisk walks.
On the way back from Bishops Lydeard there were these two cock pheasants fighting on the road in front of us.
As I walked by this couple who were grooming their dog, the man saw my camera and called out "free pictures!" He was only joking, but of course I seized the opportunity.
The woman said that the dog was "supposedly a cocker-doodle," but they see more cocker spaniel than poodle in her appearance. They added that the dog is delightful because she rarely barks.
A few years back, when I was single in Colorado I had decided to check out some online dating sites. I found that it turned out to be more of a sociological observation session than a real dating forum. All I can say is it is amazing how many guys will send you unsolicited pictures of their penises. Now, I am not easily offended and this occurrence actually became rather humorous to me. I am sure many of these guys simply do this to get themselves off, but I also get the sense that some of these guys think they can actually woo a woman this way. I have asked many female friends to see if they feel the same way as me, and yes, they agree: this is not a way to attract a female. I get the concept that men are more visual and can see how they might think that this would be a turn on...but honestly, this is hysterical! After the first three, I was joking around about starting a cock collection and that I was going to create a coffee table book of unsolicited phalluses. This ended up transpiring into collecting cocks of the avian nature. So, this is one I bought Greg at the World's Largest Truck Stop…..which happens to be in Iowa folks.
Here's a drink I created mixing Fighting Cock Kentucky 103 proof bourbon whiskey and Red Bull. "It's a cocktail with a little whang to it!" (tm) Quite delicious, if you're a 7&7 kind of person.
