The size of our cat

Madagascar cockroaches form a curious abstract at the Buffalo New York zoo. February 2013.

This model was inspired by the look of a cockroach. Especially the coat has many layers, so it's very heavy to wear. The waistcoat is layered too, but not so much.

A local cockroach. It fell in that jar to eat and was unable to get out either walking or flying. I poured chlorine in the jar and it died quickly.

We love geckos! And we've lost count of how many patrol our fly screens each night to feast on the insect life that is drawn to the lights inside. I've seen this before, but haven't managed to capture it. The gecko makes quite a noise shaking the cockroach around until it is eventually swallowed whole.

The smallest of the cockroaches I found.

The cockroach position: a sure sign that a greyhound is comfortable.

Cute Little Rascal -

Coming out to play from one of those trees, a cockroach nymph with dark wings skitters over a leaf. I cupped him on my palm and looked closely at those curious eyes. “Don’t worry, I’m not an exterminator, rest assured you are in safe hands.” “It’s not that. No one has ever appreciated me this near except you” he said, flashing a hidden smile.
