Cock Clough LOWER SABDEN FOLD Lancashire.
A collection of buildings near the foot of Cock Clough. One of these is Sabden Hall, now ruinous, but since the removal of the mullions is no longer of interest. Behind the Sabden Hall farm is Walden Cottage, formerly three dwellings, but broken into one without destroying its character. Behind is a walled garden enclosing the foundations of a cottage once occupied by a family of Flemish felt hatmakers.
