We're in the middle of a winter storm. It's not terrible, but schools and some businesses are closed. This photo is from a previous snowfall.

Pretty Goddess modeling the new Sony A7R ! Swimsuit Bikini Model Goddess Shooting Stills (Sony A7R with 35mm F/2.8 Carl Zeiss Lens) & Video (Sony NEX6) at the same time with the 45surfer philosophy bracket! I use it on every shoot, as there is so much beauty in the world and so little time, so you might as weill shoot stills and video at the same time! :) Writing a book on it! :)

A warm Malibu December when the sun satys low all day, allowing us to shoot at noon as if it was 5 PM in the summer!

Modeling the new black & gold & "Gold 45 Revolver" Gold'N'Virtue swimsuits with the main equation to Moving Dimensions Theory on the swimsuits: dx4/dt=ic. Yes I have a Ph.D. in physics! :) You can read more about my research and Hero's Journey Physics here:

herosjourneyphysics.wordpress.com/ MDT PROOF#2: Einstein (1912 Man. on Rel.) and Minkowski wrote x4=ict. Ergo dx4/dt=ic--the foundational equation of all time and motion which is on all the shirts and swimsuits. Every photon that hits my Nikon D800e's sensor does it by surfing the fourth expanding dimension, which is moving at c relative to the three spatial dimensions, or dx4/dt=ic!

The models were tall, thin, fit, and gorgeous beach goddesses! A blond and a brunette with long, long silky hair! Poseidon would approve! If he were shooting them, he'd want to capture simultaneous photographic stills and video at the same time too.

Nikon D800E RAW photos finished in Lightroom 5.3. Malibu December!

My old and less than pristine Collapsible Summicron 50mm f2.0 was overhauled and the front element coating removed. It has some interesting flare now - but sharpness is not bad at all. Contrast is low though.

These "Ragged Lady" wildflowers are thick along the back of my house right now. Usually, they will bloom at least twice during the growing season, and seem to thrive when the other varieties of wildflowers have died out. The morning dew was coating them really well this morning.

Build: chrome plated brass

Coating: light blue single (?) coated

Filter: Voigtlander original 47mm push-in UV filter in matching chromed brass build

Expression: the original Nokton, the King of standard primes in the 1950s, was the one lens Cosina Voigtlander paid tribute to when introducing the entire new series of Noktons in the early 2000s. The orginal Nokton has a 7/5 modified Ultron optical design penned by Dr. A. W. Tronnier, the legendary lens designer who also brought us Xenon, Ultron, and APO-Lanthar. The original Nokton was offered primarily in Voigtlander's own Prominent mount but very few copies were made in its rivals' Contax rangefinder mount and Leica thread mount (LTM/M39). The Prominent-mount Nokton lacks focus mechanism (because focusing is done in the camera) and thus requires an adapter with a helicoid if you want to use it on a digital mirrorless camera.

I have the traditional red to purple, top to bottom rainbow, with additional white balaclava, brown eye mask, black collar, light blue necktie and (albeit hot, not baby) pink gloves to account for the all inclusive progress motif.

Nice, but not enough.

The awesome news is that 2014 will bring us all the 45SURF goddesses and pro surfers Kelly Slater & Alana Blanchard in 4K Motion thanks to the new Sony 4K Handycam FDR-AX100 announced today at the CES! 4K video is gonna rock:

As I’m headed down to Australia to shoot the men’s and women’s Pro Surfing Quicksilver Pro, Roxy Pro, and Ripcurl Pro, I’m psyched that Sony will be releasing their new 4K camera–the Sony 4K Handycam FDR-AX100! The Sony 4K FDR-AX100 will be replacing the 1080p camcorders and NEX cameras in the below configurations, shooting 4K vidoe alongside my Sony A7r and Nikon D800E’s which I use for stills:

All the Best on Your Epic Hero's Journey from Johnny Ranger McCoy!

May the classic California HJM Goddesses guide, inspire, and exalt ye along yer heroic artistic journey!

A Gold 45 Goddess exalts the archetypal form of Athena--the Greek Goddess of wisdom, warfare, strategy, heroic endeavour, handicrafts and reason. A Gold 45 Goddess embodies 45SURF's motto "Virtus, Honoris, et Actio Pro Veritas, Amor, et Bellus, (Strength, Honor, and Action for Truth, Love, and Beauty," and she stands ready to inspire and guide you along your epic, heroic journey into art and mythology. It is Athena who descends to call Telemachus to Adventure in the first book of Homer's Odyssey--to man up, find news of his true father Odysseus, and rid his home of the false suitors, and too, it is Athena who descends in the first book of Homer's Iliad, to calm the Rage of Achilles who is about to draw his sword so as to slay his commander who just seized Achilles' prize, thusly robbing Achilles of his Honor--the higher prize Achilles fought for. And now Athena descends once again, assuming the form of a Gold 45 Goddess, to inspire you along your epic journey of heroic endeavour.

I've more winter shots from the past month (Nov 2010) or so than you could wave a large icy stick at.

This was actually from the end of November just showing how long this cold snap has lasted. Not that anyone in the UK needs reminding ;D

Pentacon auto f/50mm 1:1.8 Multi Coating
