Portfolio Rubric
Look at your entire portfolio. Choose the photo that best represents each item in the following rubric. Indicate the title of the photo that you are responding to at the beginning of each rubric component.
1.Title: Train Tracks
Depth: The illusion of distance.
Score: 10
How did you use design elements and principles to create depth? I made it so the camera was close to the ground while I was on the train tracks to take this photo and it seems like they go on forever.
2.Title: Casper
Clear Focal Area/Subject: A clear point that draws in the eye.
Score: 10
Where is the focal area and describe how the elements and principles lead you there. The area of this photo is the city of Casper in the distance and the trees around it give it some framing also.
3.Title: Chains
Movement: the way the eye moves though the photo.
Score: 9
Describe the path that your eye moves through your photo. My eye leads up the chain all the way to the top and it and also at the color of the photo.
4.Title: Basketball
Texture and Pattern: Surface quality, repeating elements in your image.
Score: 10
What are some ways you used texture and pattern in your image. There are patterns in the net of the basketball hoop and the color really gives it contrast also.
5.Title: Light Pole
Contrast: Contrast is a difference between things. Could be color, size, texture shape, value etc.
Score: 9
Describe 3 ways you used contrast in your image. I used a lot of contrast with the blue sky because it gives it color. I also used contrast in the clouds and it also has contrast with the light in the middle of the photo.
6.Title: Floor
Balance: Asymmetrical, symmetrical, radial /what type of balance did you use?
Score: 7
I used balance on the floor because the line on the ground splits it in half.
7.Title: Ladder
Geometry: Use of shapes in your image.
Score: 10
What is the dominant geometry type are you using in this photo? Rectangles are the dominant shape in this photo because they are all over this photo.
8.Title: Ice
Communicates: Tells the story.
Score: 9
What were you trying to communicate through your photo? Tell the story your image is conveying. I’m trying to show just how cold something in the world can be while still having beauty at the same time.
9.Title: Train Tops
Use of Line: Types of line, vertical, diagonal, repetitive, horizontal, leading, perpendicular, parallel, curve, scurve.
Score: 10
Describe multiple ways you use line type in the photo and write about how has that specific use of line type impacted the organization of your composition? This is a leading line type and it made this photo amazing because you never know where the train is going.
10.Title: Use of Light
Use of Light: Types of light: Soft/diffused, Back, hard, directional. Purposeful control of light.
Describe the type of lighting you are using and discuss how it effects the story the image communicates. Now discuss how the lighting impacts the organization of the design elements /principles in the composition. I love how its half shady in this photo and half sunny also and there are trees everywhere and they give this photo color.

These two leaves were close enough in a garden tree, but still there was a distance! I was expecting breeze that could join them together. Waited for the nature to react and of course I found them together and captured the moment of joy. Will publish the memorable instant soon!

I am favorite in music.
The 1960s.
The 1970s.
Wonderful musicians lived, and it was made young and passed away.
JANIS JOPLIN.
Brian Jones.
And Jimi Hendrix.
Dear Mr.Steve Jobs.
You lived the same generation as them.
Direct touch and you made the all reflect their music to work.
And now.
Your result has fruited here.
You are continuing running to the last.
The meaning which continues running.
You taught it to me.
You said like this.

I also love the music which you loved.
I was able to touch the work of you who loved music.
