I was trying to fix my wife's MP3 player, which had recently given us trouble when we tried to replace the MP3s already on it). In the process, I managed to mess up the device's file system, and a reformat and hard reset didn't resolve things.
We're heading off on a trip tomorrow morning, and I won't be back for a couple of weeks. We didn't want to both go without music, so she gets my old MP3 player for her part of the trip, and I get to use this new one. After that, I suppose we'll switch it up again.
This is the Sansa Clip. It seems to have great sound quality for a tiny thing (my hand isn't small).

Found this cool wig at Target last weekend. It was on a cheap mannequin...and was a tight fit. Clipped the band in the back and voila!

Em abril de 1996, Paulo André Pires, então empresário da Banda Jorge Cabeleira e o dia em que seremos todos inúteis contratou a mim (Afonso Jr) e Kleber Mendonça Filho para produzirmos o clipe Nervoso na Beira do Mar. A gravação, num dia de semana na então deserta praia do Paiva envolveu grades, caldos de onda, tempo nublado e muita zona. Depois o clipe, produzido junto com a Videoteipe, foi pra MTV.
Fica o registro. Lá estão: Dirceu, Coelho, Davi, KMF, Afonso Jr. e membros da banda que, desculpem, 17 anos depois, não tenho os nomes na memória. Do fundo do baú, escaneado de negativos quase perdidos, com as marcas do tempo, precisando de uma restauração digital.

In our era of social networking sites ways of communicating forest related topics has changed as blogs, image and video services have begun to compete for the same lebensraum with traditional media.
Our new ways of interacting - with the forest, have become inseparable from the means of communicating - about the forest. If we are to have more ecologically sustainable relationships with forests which sort of communication and imagery should be preferred? And what are the invader-species that ought to be weeded out from the media landscape?
At the Forest 2.0 Clip Kino we'll examine the new forest imagery, which is spread via Internet and produced by surprising variety of parties. The evening is topped off by a video-jury; which will present awards to the best in the world and worst ever forest activist videos.
The event is organized by Center of Contemporary Art Pispala Hirvitalo www.hirvkatu10.net
