A walk around the stunning French village of Roussillon in the Vaucluse.
This is the village of Roussillon in The Luberon. Famous for the yellow ochre stone that is here.
This was my favourite of all the villages I saw.
Roussillon is another village lying alongside the Luberon. Set on an ochre hill, the village has taken on the colours of the soil beneath it. The village top and its epaces and sites; footpaths lead to the various parts of the ancient sulphur and fiery-coloured deposits amidst the scented pine woods.
Situated at the foot of the plateau of Vaucluse, Roussillon is ranked among the most beautiful villages in France. Dominating the valley of Calavon, its houses are crowded together on a spur eroded by ravines and ochre quarries. From the summit to which the dwellings cling, the panorama extends from the mountain chain of Luberon in the south to the mountains of Vaucluse in the north. Between the horizon and the village, the nearby countryside with its coloured soil is covered with woods, vineyards, orchards and cornfields.
The deep ochres used in the construction of this hilltop community are stunning. No other village looks so warm and rich, so harmonious and inviting. It hues come from at least 17 shades of ochre discovered in and around the village, notably in he dramatic former quarries along the Sentier des Ochres. The quarries are to the east of the village.

Camille Matthieu was mayor of Roussillon from 1892 to 1941.

After the last mirror coating we hung all new filaments and ran a de-gas cycle on them, but we hadn't loaded new clips.
Each circle in the mask represents a separate filament, each of which must be loaded with a certain amount of aluminum in the form of small staples or clips.
The whole thing takes about two days. I still don't have feeling back in my left thumb.

Standing between the sea and the city park, it was last used by a private school (CLIP). Now its remains are waiting for a new occupation, some restaurants I've heard. Porto, Portugal.

Octopus clip. <3 Aside from very thick hair bands, this clip is the only thing that will keep my thick hair up!
Clip 1-
In this short clip I thought the movements and poses of this character were smooth yet fast paced. I think it would be a difficult task to animate the hands moving at that rate of speed and changing to a different pose each time. I thought it would be challenging If I use animation techniques to animate all of those different types of poses and showing a strong performance of the character. If I were to animate this I would have to get the timing right.
Clip 2-
I thought in this clip the character is flexible and that means I would have to work with the whole body of the model. I also think that I will be using other animation techniques that I have never used before. The characters movements are smooth and at some point, the speed is suddenly increased which is a complex key framing task. I think animating this will be tough and many mistakes will come my path. However I do think that that those mistakes will help me in general. I think doing this would help me increase my abilities to animate overall.
Clip 3-
In that short running clip. I thought it would be a funny and interesting short clip to animate. The character is running and looking back and forth. This character is also heavy and has sort of slow movements. I should be able to animate this showing that the character while he is running that he’s also carrying his own weight. In the first scene he comes in running and it takes him a considerable amount of time for him to stop before he could turn the other direction. The legs are wide spread and is trying to maintain his balance while still running at his fastest.
