A lone climber stands on Marion's Lookout on the track that leads to the start of the summit climb of Cradle Mountain. To put this into perspective you'll need to see my previous photograph which shows this lookout on the upper right hand side.

Some of you will remeber that JJ is a climber, but this was a funny sight at the hockey rink not long ago. His sister was on the ice in the First Shift program, and I spotted him in this position after earler finding him up in another precarious spot.
He wouldn't normally be safe behind the netting like this but the kids on the rink could barely push the puck nevermind lift it high with force, so he was okay. Silly, but okay.

If you want people free shots you need to get here pretty early as there are usually quite a lot of cliff climbers about especially at the weekend. The place was packed on our return walk last weekend!

Driving through Llanberis pass in North Wales I saw these young lads starting to climb (I ringed them with notes, best viewed large.)
Here is another image of two ice climbers who may or may not be racing to see who can reach the top first, haha. Any guesses who won?

The old Kalnik castle is built on the crags which are nowadays arranged for sport climbing. That brings additional visitors to this amusing place.

The climbers on the rock face at Lake Grassi, Alberta are diminutive in comparison to the rock wall that they are climbing.
Taken on my way back to Calgary. Salute to this brave ice climber and the beautiful ice falls.
