We'll leave the Cataract Gorge behind with this shot of some rock climbers. The Dolerite rock from the Jurassic era is a great face to climb. There are plenty of cracks to place pitons in and the rock is also very hard. This group of climbers from a local climbing club were enjoying a late afternoon on one of the rock faces. I should say though that about another 20 metres below the rocks in this photograph is the South Esk River.

[You definitely need to enlarge this one.]

Spending time with my daughter. She took me bouldering......I did a bit better with taking pictures than climbing rocks, but it was a blast!

Here are the brave climbers :-))

I uploaded this one high resolution so you can see the climber on the top. They had a harrowing climb, and were very late to be on the summit, perfect for me, as I was shooting sunset, but not so great to be lining down in the pitch dark with a headlamp from the top of Prusik Peak, which is a no joke rock wall. They were lucky to have a calm weather window here in the late fall. So was I... the picture is actually a little better zoomed out, but then it's nearly impossible to see the climbers on the summit, which to me is just special.

My neighbour had a big Christmas tree chopped down today. As there was not enough space to fell the tree in one go this man climbed up and took off the branches ifirst and then a bit at a time of the trunk.

I'm very happy as this gives me more sunshine on my balcony and garden.

The tree climber who came to trim the mulberry tree.

This Coyote Melon started growing at the base of this chain link fence, so I trained it to grow up, rather than out. Fun stuff!!

A Climbing plant which caught my Eyes along the trail with its big red flowers, of which a local said to me the ovule can be eaten when it's ripe. I wasn't thinking of food that moment, but had in mind if can grow this plant from a cutting, voila! Then, I begun to picture it in mind a patio full of this climber with big red flowers.

Just an old garden barrier made of concrete blocks made beautiful when covered with ivy and naturalized flowers. It's amazing what pretty surprises await on just a walk to Safeway!

So, I've finally made it to the summit of my 9th Munro, Carn a'Choire Bhoidheach. Lochnagar, my first ever Munro is behind me over my left shoulder.

Carn a'Choire Bhoidheach (pronounced Carn a-Corry voddoyich - or something like) stands at 1118 meters (3667 feet) and completes my circuit of the five Munro's of White Mounth. It's taken me 3 years and 4 separate climbs to complete this circuit, starting with my first ever Munro Lochnagar in 2016, but I'm there at last!!

Bougainvilleas are spectacular flowering climbers originally from South America that love the heat and will easily tolerate dry conditions.

The inflorescence consists of large colourful sepal like bracts which surround three simple waxy flowers
