Lost an air battle, but was gone just a little later, so I assume all was well after all. It did seem to like the attention, I enjoyed a nice crisp photo of a bird that RARELY sits still.

Here's a bunch of shots from Portugal from where I have just returned. I pretty much had every evening to myself exploring the beaches and coves north of Cascais, on the edge of Sintra National Park.

This spot was an amazing place, difficult to get to and totally deserted.
