Finally got my computer up and running after a long break due to the house flooding.
How I have missed photoshop. Oh and Drew helped me clean all my photo gear today. He is in love with the rocket pump cleaner "thingie".
This spotted cleaner shrimp (Periclimenes yucatanicus) lives in the tentacles of an anemone. Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles.

Clean shrimp before cooking.
Wash shrimp and drain. Hold
shrimp across fingers. Place thumb on
center of back and straighten.
Insert blade in viscera cavity
one inch. Move thumb and fingers
to rear sides of shrimp. Thrust
blade straight thru and out
thru the spear tail. Grasp
meat inside the opened shell.
Pinch one tail flipper and pull.
Wash meats in running water.

This is my entry for the Non-Combat Frame Challenge. It's built on a Lockon core and meant to be a multi-purpose cleaning Frame.
Advertisement for Windolene window cleaner in the National Federation of Ironmongers Year Book for 1952-1953. Oddly, for an ad in a trade directory for ironmongers, there are no maker's details given nor any indication as to where potential stockists can get the stuff.
If this truck had been made by a Far Eastern toy maker I would have described this as a DAF LF but being a Mattel product I will have to give them the benefit of the doubt that it is purely generic. Thankfully it is the acceptable face of generic unlicensed castings with its realistic and modern Euro look cab.
The MBX Street Cleaner casting has been around for a few years now and is seen here in its attractive 2014 livery. A nice chunky model with plenty of appeal for both kids and collectors. Mint and boxed.

I found this film shot buried on my hard drive during transfer of all the images to another hard drive when the original almost completely crashed. It looked so pretty I have to share it with you. The image taken about 5 years ago and it pretty much looks the same still and that's a good thing. One of the best signs in town. :- )
