Sometimes the air pollution was so bad in NY that I really needed to wear my gas mask just walking down the sidewalk.
It's more breathable here in San Diego, CA than Brooklyn NY. Let's keep it that way. Reduce the emissions. Even my poor dog snorts when an extra dirty car or truck goes by us.

I had to take the car in for a recall fix today. They washed it too...the first time it's been washed since Jerry passed away.
A 1948 Alvis TA14 4-door saloon with a ‘Mulliners’ body spotted in a garage in Ryedale, North Yorkshire, UK. According to the owner, this car was a South African export model, repatriated in Britain, originally painted in black, complete with historic non-transferable six-character registration black plate; “GWD 336”. Note the retrofit modern aftermarket rear light cluster holdings, given that this car presumably wasn’t fitted with any original rear lights, as per local legislations of the time. The car was an older restoration, had an original running inline-4-cylinder engine, and was in generally very good condition overall, apart from a thin layer of dust, and a few light patches of surface rust/patina.
